Ubuntu touch on my phone.

 

I pity the fool who can't use the same package manager, firewall, backup script, remote access and VPN servers and clients and mandatory access control utility across all his devices.

I'm that one weirdo who actually liked Windows 8. I didn't really understand why everyone was so upset. It was really different from 7; yes, but I adapted and got used to it in just a few days and I functioned just fine on Windows 8. I like Windows 10 so much more, though. 

 

I don't have a specifically favourite operating system. I like all of them based on various merits. For example, I use my Windows machine for playing games and I love the versatility of the operating system but the downside is that it's buggy. I'd imagine making an operating system compatible with everything is difficult, and that's why I like Mac OS X. I like it because it's fast, fluid and pretty but I don't like how it's not very customizable. Sure, I haven't had much need to customize the software on my MacBook yet because it already does everything I got it for, but the lack of functionality in certain areas (particularly contextual menus) does bother me a little bit. I also like Ubuntu/other Linux distributions because they're free and a lot of them are quite nice to use now, but just like Windows they can be quite buggy at times.

Welp, currently Arch Linux. Somehow just feels like GNU/Linux+systemd, which is nice, because I really like systemd.

What is your favorite operating system?  For me that would be Kali Linux I run it using virtual box but later in the future I plan on having two pc's windows xp and kali linux. The reason why I need two os's is because windows xp is for gaming and Kali Linux is for programming because I do game development ( c++ , java , c# ) and I often play around with the terminal inside the operating system. I enjoy both os's but i oftenly use Linux and I just prefer it. But the question still remains...

  • C++ crypter ( if your into cryptography, I plan on releasing this on my website later :P ) 
  • C#/OpenGL ( OpenGL for UI ) fan/light controller for my room w/ raspberry pi and some mechanical motors and stuff :D


Current repair projects

------------------------------

  • My dreadful receiver ( a capacitor blew ) 
  • working on a PC from a client, CPU died within the system, seems like a short, replaced CPU and awaiting payment before I ship it back 
  • my old 1tb sas drive for my NAS, some blemishes or something on the PCB need to clear that back out, if it doesn't work i'll need to scrap it ( already backed up all my stuff thankfully )

I love Ubuntu but use Windows 7 because it's just easier to get programs for

Not just there os but there entire line up of products, one of there macbook air laptops that are selling for 1299 has a processor equliviant to a smart watch processor not even lying. It makes me mad because people fall for the crap

what MacBook has a smart watch cpu in it. I'd love to see proof of these claims considering you're "not even lying"...
