Cherry MX Blue vs Red - Microphone sound pickup

I am getting a new keyboard to replace my failing K65 with Cherry Reds. I want to move to a more tactile switch, like Cherry Blue's, but I am worried that my friend who I play a lot of games with will get annoyed with the sound. I type very heavily, so the sound of my Red's bottoming out is already quite loud, will the click of the blues be significantly louder?

Yes, a lot more.

You can buy o-rings to make the reds quieter.

Consider browns, still tactile but without the added sound feedback. My browns with o rings are a reasonable volume on my mic.

This. Browns will give you the tactile feel w/out the audible "click".

no click, but the "clack" of any mechanical keyboard vs something like a membrane is a lot louder in my experience

I have Cherry MX Blues on my Corsair K70 and my friends can definitely hear them clicking through my mic. They've never really complained about it but they have mentioned a couple times that they could hear the clicks.

Yes, the activation sound of browns is not loud at all.  If you are a light touch, because you'll still hear them bottoming out.
