why rx 480 8gb cost $220 in us and £230 in uk ?!?!

my friend was waiting for this card to come so he can build a pc in his budget of £600 that performs 6ofps in 1080 on medium to high settings.

 

why the hell is expensive in uk and cheap in us

$220 = £162.84   today rate why just why?!?!?!?!?

literally every GPU release is the same, way more expensive in pounds

Cheapest GTX 1070s in the UK are £400. That is about $540 USD.

1) the 970 didnt launch today, it launched years ago, of course its cheaper now

2) 390 is also pretty old

3) the 1070 is WAY more expensive in pounds than it is in USD

4) the 480 isnt special, its just another GPU release

5) you need to pay more attention to release prices, value of the pound, and taxes
