I feel like I can relate to people who have dropped something with a moving part inside it (HDD and etc.) and be left with a broken system. SSDs on the other don't suffer from this and would be good in a laptop (maybe my laptop)

I'd like one of these because my laptop is in dire need of an SSD- it's got a 160gb HGST 5400rpm drive in it right now and *damn* that thing is slow!

I want an SSD but can't afford to buy one right now and my SeaGate Barracuda does not give me confidence in my data being safe. Plus boot times are extremely slow (30-60 seconds).

I could use a new SSD, because it has a USB port, which means easy fixing of system problems and I could put my old SSD in my laptop, install WWindows on it and get my mother a laptop she needs.

Btw, this forum is almost unusable on Firefox for Android, as you might already be able to tell from how my post is made

My reason for wanting a new SSD is to upgrade my four year old laptop, and everyone should have an SSD because it is so much more enjoyable not waiting for things to load.

I just built my new pc a few months ago, and I only have a 250gb hard drive in it right now (only 40gb left). Money is tight and I can't spend the money for an ssd. The ssd would be a huge boost in my computer.

SSD is a good way of boosting your system overall performance. I would love SSD to boost my 2600k performance :)

It would be awesome to get an SSD to add to my (hopefully soon) new build. Still throwing around budgets and numbers right now, and its not looking good, so something to help would be amazing.

I don't have an SSD at all, so I want one because i feel this PC really slow to start up.

seriously, i've got 2 laptop hard drived on it, a Hitachi 320GB and a WD 120GB. I'll get a 1TB HDD so having this SSD for boot drive would be awesome

currently my laptop has a 600gb hard drive but which may be more than enough, storage wise, an ssd would definitely help for boot times, let everything else be in the hard drive. i think that boot times are about everything right now, thatas why every pc or laptop should have one

Everybody needs an SSD, but especially me! This is how I turn on my PC:

  • Press the power button
  • Go drink something (or pee or whatever)
  • After a couple of mins I come back an put in my password
  • Go do something else until it finishes loading everything...

I need this!

I have a great laptop, the lenovo y50.  The only thing I don't like is its slow 5400rpm hard drive, so I would love a good ssd for a general boost in my pc's load times.

In my HTPC/TV gaming PC (i5 3330s, 8GB 1866MHz hyper x, GTX 750, and... a 500GB 5400RPM seagate momentous)... it'd be nice to have a boot SSD.

Everyone should have an SSD so they don't have to wait forever for applications to open, it takes like 10 seconds for chrome to open on that 5400RPM drive...
