nice build looks good so far also a bit off topic but can i ask you how hte 598's sound i maybe buying them in the next  month and would like to hear your experience with them?

It's Great for many genres of music but if you listen to a lot of bass heavy music, go with the Beyer DT 770 or the AKG K550 !
But if you love natural sound and want the best listening experience on this price point, it's a worthy investment   :)

UPDATE: Swiftech Apogee GTZ Next update

post-22033-0-59353900-1380058883_thumb.jpost-22033-0-13768800-1380058907_thumb.j

This block been through a lot and it has a longway to go before I let it retire !

Maintenance Chart:

         1. Well, that beautifully hand crafted hold down plate have to go...  <_< after so many years it deserves a proper one.

         2. Since the theme is Platinum-Black-Red thinking of nickel plating the screws or should I paint them ROG Red ?

         3. Planning to highlight the GTZ logo, Here is a crazy idea! let's bedazzle it with tiny diamond cut crystals ?

         4. After the new socket hold down plate arrives from Swiftech, I am gonna restore it's former glory! mirror finish

UPDATE: Swiftech Apogee GTZ - cleaning & replacement of the mounting Next update

Finally managed to dismantle the GTZ for cleaning and to change the hold down plate.

When you live in Bangladesh; you sometimes have to go over a mountain to get something you need !

Like a Torx set that will fit on the GTZ - Thanks for that swiftech  <_<

post-22033-0-96383900-1380057511_thumb.j

Now since that ordeal is over. It seems that nothing short of chemical bath, will clean this mass out !

UPDATE: The Proper GTZ Mounting Finally Arrived From Swiftech Next update

Even though this mounting was released back when Intel introduced 1156 socket but I'm glad I still found one.

It was only available in the states. So, it took forever to arrive ! Obviously...  <_<

It's a forum Issue. They responded by making the images smaller to a level of a thumbnail

After a lot of complains now that's fixed but this issue remained !

So, for now at least just press Ctrl+Scroll Down a bit that should help  :)

Very nice build... however your not really going to be able to go 100% passive for terribly long.  I can go a while completely passive but you will definitely need some air passing over the rads to keep things at decent temps.  More rad space helps, but it only goes so far.

Definitely going to keep my eye on this though.

Agreed. However, it's passive in a sense that there won't be any fans mounted on the rads.

But there will be 3x NF-F12's mounted on the Air Duct System of the case.

2x 480 rads will stand side by side on the back of the case as a overpriced mesh !

ADS will draw cool air from outside by creating negative pressure inside through the rads.

With my current 360+240 and the new two 480's there is no shortage in rad space...

I am also adding 2 400mm res to reduce heat up time.

Maybe I will add another D5 with my old mcp655 to increase the flow a bit.

It can also serve as a backup, just in case my old pump fails !

Copper tubing should also help in cooling a bit.

After all that if it does get a bit toasty on load, I wouldn't mind as long as it runs silent!

Thank You so much for the kind words and support  :)

I am currently working on the front glass window. Test fit done !

Please Stay Tuned, I will post an update as soon as I go back home from office.

UPDATE: Front Glass window Next update

Finally decided to go with the saint gobain's one way glass. One thing I didn't count on was it's sharpness !

Broke the first one on the test fit along with a few cut to my hands

Now this one really looks promising and dulled the edges this time, test fitting ! Fingers Crossed  :D

Visibility is great and the mirror look from the out side should look fantastic !
