How are you going to manage owning a car and even a house. There is always something that needs fixing with houses. Are you going to be staring at the walls, furnaces, ac units all day long and not enjoy your dwelling?

Try and get in to a frame of mind where by, even if it is all going to break, you can't stop it from happening, so enjoy it while you can.

If it genuinely is a problem you can't stop and it is stressing you out, Counselling. I've been ridiculed for this in the past. Counsellors cannot prescribe meds, it'd just me you and him or her, talking, in order to resolve issues going on.

Anxiety, if that is what you have, can be crippling. I suffer with it myself and it can be very tiring when trying to persuade myself out of being anxious about something. If you don't get panic attacks, I wouldn't worry too much. I sometimes find myself in the frame of mind where I'm literally rallying until the next problem. I just take advantage what I can, while I can. If something is out of your control, just accept it. Then you've at least had some time with it before you have to RMA.

If you can't learn to stop worrying about the small stuff then there's no hope for you, you'll end up like this:

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

Indeed.

The sad fact is, some people need help with it. I didn't with gadgets and stuff like that, my anxiety manifests itself in stuff that could happen to my wife, step daughter or dogs.

Sounds far fetched, but it isn't fun if it is an actual medical problem.

My GTX 970 is bottlenecked by my FX-6300, so whenever I get frame drops ,stuttering, etc, I know where it's from. To alleviate a bit of this, I overclocked my chip. Now, as I slowly bump up the clock, I fear the moment it clicks, and I BSOD. So far so good at 4.5ghz though.

I don't have this problem, and I'm glad I don't, but I could see how one could develop this problem.

I constantly worry that something is wrong with my hardware and I'm not noticing it and I'm going to move out of warranty/RMA range before I realize it or something. My gaming performance is diminished by the feeling that my hardware is struggling, and I watch the frames intensely instead of enjoying the game. When my experience with a certain program/game is not up to par with what people with similar specs report, I automatically start thinking about how I can convince Newegg to let me RMA everything I have just in case. I have a problem..

You need to realize that most problems are software related and not hardware.

@sunnaryt

Just set up your games so they run at around 60fps or better, then turn off all frame rate overlay programs and invest yourself in the game you're playing. You'll soon forget about the frame rates or any other potential issues.
