These radiators look great, unfortunately I can't test them yet cause watercooling.co.uk can't get an order to me having paid on 26th Feb for an in stock item!

Rant over, the rads are painted and ready to refit:

THAT PUPPY IS SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ye he is, there ..... Beagle, notoriously difficult to house break.... Carpet cleaner purchased 2 weeks after we brought him home, followed by a trip to the vets cause one of his testes hadn't dropped to find out one was still attached to his kidney.. he's had a hard time poor boy.

Seems royal mail may have lost my delivery with the remaining fittings I require to complete the CPU loop, the blocks should be here in like an hour and I can't do anything until the fittings arrive

Hi thanks! I was looking at using the Core X2 but it couldn't accomadate a full size ATX so it was a no go.

The X9 is huge, it dwarfs the mid towers in my room (although my previous modded Antec 902 has been moved to the tip  :( )

Seems Royal Mail have lost my package containing all my compression fittings so this may be all I have for a few days

at least I received some of my goods today!

Spent some time today working on the cable management around the motherboard tray and got the CPU and Chipset blocks fitted, just waiting on those compression fittings to arrive today, had an interesting chat with watercoolinguk.co.uk today which ended in no more information on where the hell the fittings are:

Quickly got everything connected, carried out a few hour flush and then filled the system. Done some leak checks just bleeding it now:

Love that block!

Had to take the fittings out from the CPU > Chipset as there just wasn't enough room to bend the hose:

Slight change to the cpu > chipset blocks

1YQM9aw.jpg

Y2t728G.jpg

Loving that PWM plug there

So i'm about to go away with work for a while which puts this build on hold for a little while, so heres my to do list (for me as much as others!)

Ek 8mm extender needs fitting to the Chipset block as you can see in the picture its not quite parallel.

Order and fit EK 970 ACX + Nickel Backplate.

Order 1x XSPC Chrome 90 degree fitting (not in stock at the moment). This is the final fittings for the GPU loop.

Figure out a way to either make the bitfenix recon work with the pwm hubs and ek pwm pumps or buy a new fan controller. Or buy 4x fan pwm splitter cables for the 8 fans and find another way of controlling the pumps (must avoid connection to motherboard)

I was going to, but already had 1/2 the compression fittings for the build and at £5 each thats around £50 so wasn't worth switching, maybe my next project =)

Unfortunately its going to be a couple of months before i finish this as I'm away with work

Well I'm finally home and got everything installed and after a minor angry moment with EK everything seems to be working.
After 3 months away the original pastel red had turned to a murky red, not sure what happened here but I had to carry out another flush of the CPU loop and refill it.
I've also installed the waterblock and backplate from EK for my 970GTX and on the first boot I seen a small flash and smell of burning. I narrowed it down to the GPU and it seems that the instructions are garbage ..... an area of the back plate touched onto some part of the PCB and caused a short. However it seems that a god must love me as I removed the backplate tried to boot again and everything worked. Just ran a few 3D benchies and everything seems stable, im counting my lucky stars today, but still incredibly pissed at EK...

Just leak checking now and I will post some pics up tomorrow.

Well it's almost there, still need to drain the cpu loop and change the extender on the chipset block. Also considering some Hyper X Fury ram sticks to add a little more white to the motherboard area.

The coolant lost it's colour pretty quick for some reason, so carried out a full drain and flush using Mayhems Blitz Cleaning Kit and then topped up using some fresh Red Pastel. Just waiting on my new memory to arrive now :)
