Triple Gtx 980, Dual Gtx Titans or Titan Z?

Go to solution Solved by H4X3R,

For what??

For rendering with cuda supported apps dual titan blacks.

For gaming 2 x 980s are enough, 3 x 980 would on benefit in a VERY FEW select games

If your villas are overflowing with money then the titan z would be the best option to free some space.

Triple 980 ofc.

I'd get 2x 980's and use the extra money for something else.

For gaming I would go with the 3x 980s but if it is for more industry stuff like video editing I would go with the titans. Which ones though I don't know for I dont have a Titan Z.

about cuda, yes the titans have more cuda cores, but ive heard that maxwell cuda cores a more efficient so "less maxwell cuda cores > more kepler cuda cores"

The more cards you add the less they scale. I would stick to two GTX 980's and invest the money somewhere else. Two are even enough for 4k gaming.
