Moto G, again.

So my phone died on the way home from the movies, after 3 hours on the charger and multiple attempts to get it to turn on, it wont. I declared it dead and ordered the Moto G. But I have a few questions, are they any good custom ROM's I can install to give the phone a better feel to it? Or anything for that matter to maybe make the phone a little more snappy and use less ram for the OS.

Yeah stock android will use the least amount of RAM. It only uses 512mb...so I don't really know why you'd wan to go lighter.

You could try Cyanogenmod maybe? Not sure if they have a build for the G.

Well, the issue is that it only has 1GB of ram, I could always cancel the order and next friday get the iPhone 5c, even though I don't really like iPhones

Get that.

It's just if I do I have to wait ages for my rig, like end of may wait. That would suck :/, but I guess some things need to come first, I'm not missing out on a whole lot.

Yeah, it's kind of stale right now.

How much is your planned PC? Could you not shave the money for the phone off of it?
