Which RTX2070 Super is the best?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

Hi,

I want to buy an RTX2070 Super for my sister, and I want to know which company produce the best RTX 2070 Super.

So, here's the criteria:

- My sister wants a card which is quiet.

- Her case is CoolerMaster E500L, which can support GPU length up to 399mm

- She doesn't know how to overclock, so preferably to have one button auto overclocking

- She has a 4k 65 inch TV which use HDMI (forgotten the version, got it brand new mid last year), but will game at 1080p.

- No need RGB, as she prefer her system to be dark

So, I'm looking for a card which has good cooling and quiet.

Here's the list that I can find so far:

- Galax GeForce RTX2070 Super Ex (1-click OC)* https://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/galax-geforce-rtx-2070-super-ex-1click.html

- GALAX RTX2070 SUPER 8G EX (1-click OC) PINK* (my sister would kill me if I get the pink for her!) https://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/20-series/geforcer-rtx-super-series/galax-geforce-rtx-2070-super-ex-1click-pink.html

- MSI GeForce RTX2070 Super Ventus OC* https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2070-SUPER-VENTUS-OC

- MSI GeForce RTX2070 Super Gaming X* https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2070-SUPER-GAMING-X

- MSI GeForce RTX2070 Super Gaming X Trio** https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2070-SUPER-GAMING-X-TRIO

- Gigabyte RTX2070 Super WindForce OC 3X* https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SWF3OC-8GD-rev-10-11#kf

- Gigabyte RTX2070 Super Gaming OC 3X** https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMING-OC-8GD-rev-10-11#kf

- Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX2070 Super 8G*** https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SAORUS-8GC-rev-10-11#kf

- Asus DUAL-RTX2070S-O8G-EVO** https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-RTX2070S-O8G-EVO/

- Asus ROG-STRIX-RTX2070S-A8G-GAMING*** https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RTX2070S-A8G-GAMING/

- EVGA GeForce RTX2070 Super 8GB KO Gaming* https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-2072-KR

- EVGA GeForce RTX2070 Super 8GB XC Gaming** https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3172-KR

- EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC HYBRID GAMING** https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3178-KR

- EVGA RTX2070 SUPER 8GB FTW3 ULTRA** https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3277-KR

- ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER AMP* https://www.zotac.com/my/product/graphics_card/zotac-gaming-geforce-rtx-2070-super-amp

- ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER AMP Extreme* https://www.zotac.com/my/product/graphics_card/zotac-gaming-geforce-rtx-2070-super-amp-extreme

Note:

* Preferred / within budget

** A little over the budget

*** Way beyond my budget

Oh, and one more thing: Is GALAX GeForce® RTX 2080 OC good? https://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/20-series/galax-geforce-rtx-2080-oc-black.html

So, which is the best one, or did I missed out the best one? My budget would be around US$ 500. Since I live in Malaysia, Import duty with shipping fee really take a toll, so I usually prefer to get from the store. Many store doesn't list all their inventory, so may need to physically check the price out.

Well, hope I can get some input, and thanks in advance.

Regards,

Chiyawa

I see.

I'm not sure when she needs her built, so hopefully I can persuade her to wait a little longer.

I see. But my sister doesn't know what is OC, let alone operate 1. But I guess I can teach her, if she wants.
