do i need a fan header splitter?

Bashkia

hey guys, I am getting a new build in an Meshify c case (the build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QZf2mg the Noctua one is for push pull conf), and I want to add some fans to it:
I am planning to add 2 Shadow wings 140mm in the front and move the stock one from the front to upper exhaust (and leave on stock fan at the back).
(both shadow wings are pwm)

my main question is will I able to use headers on the motherboard or I will need splitters?
according to the motherboard spec it has 2 fan headers for this use case, but can I utilize headers other than these two?

help appreciated ?

Your board has: 2 CPU fan headers (one optional), 2 system fan headers (man, what is it with modern boards and very little headers?!)

You need: 2 (CPU) fan headers for the Noctua, 2 fan headers for the Shadow Wings, 2 for the case fans.

So you're missing 2 case headers. It's probably easiest to get 2 splitter cables (or one that split to three).

oh ok, I just thought could use something like an m.2 fan header instead or something like this.

Oh yeah, missed that one (it's not that common, so didn't look at it).

Looks like it has the standard PWM layout. The PUMP headers would run the fan at MAX speed though by default and I couldn't see if it can be slowed down.. So couldn't exactly recommend them...

In that case only a 2 fan splitter would be needed.

I would use splitters with fans of the same type that you will run at the same speed.  That is -- if you want to monitor fan speeds.

No need for splitters.

Cpu cooler in cpu_fan1, rear exhaust in cpu_opt, and the other 3 case fans in the cha_fan and m.2 fan headers.
