OnePlus 7T Pro or Wait For S11

I've Been Wanting to Change My Phone For A While Now, Was Looking At The S10+ But Didn't Really Like The Pill Hole On The Screen

The OnePlus Has A 90Hz Screen But The S11 Should Have That And The OnePlus Doesn't Have Wireless Charging Which I Use Quite A Bit But I Could Just Plug It In

Was Wondering If I Should Just Buy The OnePlus 7T Pro Or wait For The S11

How Is The Camera Of The OnePlus Compared To Samsung?

Do You Think The S11 Will Have a All-Screen Display Or Have a Cutout Again?

Why Would You Ever, Ever, Ever Type Like This? Not Only Does It Hurt My Soul And Eyes To Read, It Hurts My Brain Too Because I'm Used To Capitals Being The Name Of Something Or The Beginning Of A New Sentence.

Just use normal type and punctuation, will work wonders for getting actual answers because people can read your post without their brain hemorrhaging. 

Grammar Nazi time out of the way, if you actually need a phone now, just get the OP one. If you can wait at least a few more months, then just wait and see what features the S11 has, then decide. Can't really compare something to a phone that isn't released yet.

I'd just go for an 845 phone, as they're $300-400 on ebay, probably the best value higher end phones

 

S9/S9+/One Plus 6T/Note 9 are what I'm looking at getting right now.

 

The Razer Phone 2 is also cheap, but may have QC issues.

In German Language, each and every noun is in capital letter. Even beginning of the sentence is also capitalized. For example “ I am reading a book.” Ich lese ein Buch.

My point stands, there's no good reason to capitalize every single letter, AFAIK there's no other language where that is correct, and it is most certainly incorrect for English.

This person is going to the effort of writing in a language they likely do not feel 100% comfortable with. If you've ever bothered to learn another language you will know that it is a challenge to bring your point across clearly. Attacking people for trying to use another language is just sad, and discourages people from learning more languages.

I've tried to learn Spanish failed at that. But I sure as heck wasn't typing every word with a capital letter. Actually pronounced most stuff decently too, though I've forgotten how to now. 

I already said my piece on grammar nazi-ism anyways, then moved on the answer the OP's question. No need to continue chasing after me because I took issue with my eyes bleeding at the Sight Of Text Like This.

I am not sure if wireless charging is a major loss. My phone has it and although I got a wireless charger I find more of an hassle to wait for it to charge (9000ma battery takes hell of a long time to charge). OP7T is a great phone, so is S lineup that samsung currently has but I would still argue that AOSP based clean roms last longer. Samsung has had many UI's since the first S lineup and so far none of them ever felt clean or non bloated to me. In the end its your choice, you cant go wrong anything and you dont necessarily need to upgrade your phone ASAP.

I'd wait. It's not that far off, and the S11 is supposed to be a pretty drastic change from what they currently offer. Plus if the S10 "Lite" is anything to go by, it looks like they're going to put some pretty nice spec into upcoming phones. 45 watt charging, 4,500mah battery, etc.

 

Samsung is working on under glass cameras, though I kind of doubt they'll be ready for the S11. You never know though. Even if they are, I'm not sure I'd go for the first gen...as the first gen of every tech is usually miles behind the second.

 

The OnePlus camera is not nearly as good as the Samsung.

 

There might also be other phones that catch your eye coming out at the same time as the S11.

I myself went from an S7 Edge to a Oneplus 6t (Snapdragon 845 device), and even normal daily usage was a HUGE difference in performance.

 

But right now: Either you get a SD 845 device for cheap (like a Mi 8 <300€ or something like that), or you take on of those 90 Hz models, because that is one of the best "innovations" in Smartphones in the last Years. 

Like a Oneplus 7T (non-Pro) is already a huge step up.

 

If you wait for the S11, you might as well wait for the Oneplus 8 / 8 Pro.
