Whats a budget cpu to pair with a 1660ti? I was thinking a ryzen 5 2600, but its better to be safe then sorry. I just don't want any bottleneck.

Looking at some reviews, comparing that CPU to higher single threaded performance processors, you're only gonna lose a couple frames per second at 1080p, even less at higher resolutions.

You're totally fine with this, no real bottlenecking here (because there is always some bottlenecking.. usually not enough to notice though).

Nah you can just OC the normal R5 2600... it's enough CPU for a GTX 1660 Ti by every mean.

That's a good choice, the next generation of Ryzen chips is going to be presented in just a few hours though so you may want to wait a few days to see how prices evolve and if you're interested in a new chip.
