Vibrating Screen Instead of Speakers?

LG’s flagship smartphone’s are often unfairly overlooked. This year’s G8 uses a vibrating screen as a speaker, and lets you unlock the device by reading your palm! But are these gimmicks good or garbage?

Sammy screen is already OLED so this LG OLED wont do much for us.  Let then make their washer and dryers and fridge appliances.   Oh and some good monitors they make.

A technical question, is that a piezoelectric speaker or just a conventional speaker under the display?

The LG G8  has tiny speakers built into the display...

So its an LG g6 with a bunch of gimmicks, slightly better specs, and for a $200 higher launch price? I'll stick to my g6.

Won't ever buy a new flagship but maybe next year I might buy this phone. Was looking at LG for a new one but wen't with Xiaomi due to better specs and price, LG seems to be following everyone in bottle necking mid range phones to try to push for top tier ones.

@LinusTech from all the video's i've seen, you're using the S10's fingerprint sensor wrong. You're just supposed to tap it, not hold it. It's much faster.

You have over 50 people working there and you can't even manage to make a review. It was still a 12 minute video, you could have fitted all of the new features in there with a bit more effort with scripting and cutting, but instead decided to churn out a filler video :(.
