Unable to Find A Decent Block for My GPU

Hello LTT, im having issues finding a block for my Asus ROG STRIX RX580. From everything I know, it isnt a reference PCB and thus requires its own block. I have only been able to find one for it, and it is insanely expensive: https://www.amazon.com/Barrow-Water-Cooling-Block-STRIX/dp/B071GR34SG

 

Are there any others, or am I totally wrong that the ROG card is a custom PCB?

I think the one you found is the only one, as far as I can tell. I found the same block but it's cheaper from first look.

Damn. I was going back and forth on buying a new GPU as my RX580 is heavily bottle-necking my i5-8600K in GPU heavy applications and games like For Honor. The fact that I cant do custom cooling on this the decider, I may swap nVidia if they can validate my monitor will work with the new FreeSync compatibility thing.

 

To give you an idea of how GPU heavy For Honor is: My GPU sits at 100% usage, my CPU is around 30%. Guess I'll buy a new GPU when I get the money and crank up the settings.

You don't have to have a verified monitor to do it. It's really just a matter of how well it works with the 10/20 series card.

I dont want any of the strange flickering that Linus showed during CES. Im sure thats a very edge case, but still. Im probably going to buy a used 1080Ti when I get the money up.

There's some decent monitors on the list. Something I found funny is that a budget 144hz 1080p monitor from AOC got onto the list.
