You've got an 1150 CPU with a 2011-3 MB. Either change the board for a Z97 or change the CPU to a Haswell-E.
Other than that its a beast.

CPU is incompatable with motherboard, get a z97 mobo and ddr3 memory. Get win7/8 from reddit,com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap and a different psu, such as what bob suggested.

1. (guess this one doesnt really count as "building")
a few years ago i had a pre-built pentium 4 pc and one day i was cleaning it
i took out the cpu cooler and saw the thermal interface compound
i thought it was dust build up so i removed all the TIM and polished the cpu surface
turned the computer back on and it died after 2 hours
 
 
2. after i finished my first build i wanted to test the cpu temperature
didnt know how to use BIOS or any monitoring software
so i removed the cooler and used a thermometer to check the temp
 
 
3. when i built my custom watercooling loop i heard about push pull
so i pointed two fans at each other thinking i was getting tons of performance

I'd go i3. In both tomshardware's and Anandtech's reviews of the g3258 (OC'd), it only performs only a little better than an i3 in some very heavily single threaded games. The i3 can perform dramatically better in multithreaded tasks, and generally performs the same or better in games than an OC'd g3258.
The i3 is more expensive, but I'd consider it worth the money to have the guaranteed performance instead of needing to rely on overclocking luck. Use the stock cooler and an affordable motherboard, and you'll have a reasonably affordable good gaming PC.

Thats actually spot on right. thanks. I mean of course an i5 would be better but considering that were i live the i5 4460 costs 3x the price of the pentium, its probably not worth it for a budget-entry level

Well in many cases its possible to game with dual core. Remember this is a budget, not titan x and 5960x build
 

Keep your Evo for now. If you find you need something with more cooling potential then buy an NH-D14/NH-D15 or an AIO.

I am not liable if you get in trouble with this.

I won't be doing video rendering. 
I'm planning on using this build with a controller. We have a lot of guests over, and they don't play computer. So I'm planning on making a setup, change the design of my room, and connect some controllers to the pc, and do some multiplayer stuff.
I'm just expecting it to have a stable fps ( over 60 fps, since i have 60 Hz screen ) in games like Cs:GO ( play it alot ), GTA V, BF4 and some other games, still having a decent quality ( medium - high ). 
 
No rendering, so the pentium will do me fine ( for now atleast ), and incase i need to do heavy multitasking, i'll just use my laptop, since it's pretty good!
 
But yea, the R9 285 seems to be doing way better than the GTX 750 Ti, for only a few dkk more. ( I guess i'll have to work 2 more hrs ) But it'll be worth the frames per second more ! 

Yea, and i saw the benchmark video, it's a hellof a good card, and outperforms the heck out of the gtx 750 ti. I'll be getiing the r9 285 OC for now! I hope the price of my components in my build will become a bit cheaper in a few months Might be able to grab a 960 if so.

Thanks. Btw did you see the benchmark video? I dont know how accurate the numbers are, but i did some searching sometimes ago, and im pretty sure that my conclusion was that the 285 was a whole lot better. And for my own build i Actually build this myself not so long ago

Wouldnt spend on i5 in the start if youre goal is to game. For gaming the pentium rocks, and because its low price (500 dkk+- if i remember) you can upgrade it if you feel like doing heavier stuff like video rendering
 
You will benefit from the extra performance in most games, and even games not optimized for amd, will make its extra power perform likely around 750 ti.

If you already have a 970 then get another one for half the cost.
 
The 980 Ti is basically the same as two 970s and costs the same as two 970s too.

Performance should be about equal. 750 Ti just uses less power and I assume it will be cooler too. Will try to find some benchmarks.
