hello everyone after like 6 months(im sorry :P) the pc from last decade is finally back i got the 780i sli working again and I got 8gb of ram I sadly did sell the gtx 285 for something for my main rig everything is still the same like I’m gonna get 2 gtx 285s and stuff 🙂 this is just for a little update actual progress on the build will come in a phew weeks or so

I ain’t shure what those terms mean but where can I get that I’m kinda poor atm (being a child sucks lol) so anything that’s cheap and good I like 🙂 

Well I don’t think it’s needed anymore I took the cooler of the gpu and on the gpu die there was basically no thermal paste just like a translucent oil or something it was probably because the paste wasn’t mixed correctly I’ve been running its for about 6 minutes now and this is what the temp is 

tysm i acctually did it i heated it up to 150c and it worked it works completly fine now even when running benchmarks
 

It was a dead gtx 275 some smds broke off and it was basically impossible to repair 

No sli is for connecting to nvidia gpus you don’t have them on motherboards 

If you can charge your phone with your pc your fine and basically all mobos have that

For the optimal config in my opinion I would get some 140mm air filters I think Silverstone makes them and use the fans in the front and I would also recommend getting at least another fan for in the top of the case

Look people I got a nvidia cpu form Nvidia it uses normal ddr4 this is epic

No it’s an evga bord the gigabyte one is from my main rig

Well I got my hand on a gtx 690 lol for my main pc but I’m gonna get a gtx 780 for that because I don’t use sli so I might use that but I’m not sure

But I don’t have the cooler yet 

See the edit, they do accept a picture of it with your name/current date written on a piece of paper next to it. Just trying to verify you actually own the hardware to stop people taking advantage of the free kit and reselling them I guess.

No I don’t want to ruin existing brackets but my question was are you able to get those for free on noctuas site the kit exists

I agree with your points I’m sad that they stoped using the cooler design after the 1080 ti 

Really good I can run most of the games I play at 100 FPS like gta 5 metro 2033 redux pc building simulator and I love the look of it

I understand! It might also be a good idea for me to keep it as backup if my 1080 ti fry some day. Was just because of color theme! 

No sorry I’m saving up to get an gtx 1070 or maybe an rtx 3060 when the prices come down I’ll just stick with my 690 for now but thanks for the offer

Okey now I know enough thanks a lot for the help I’m gonna get the black + white ones they are the same price to match my gtx 690 FE and the white corners on my noctua fans 

Well that’s a good point if I want a good full atx mobo I’ll be paying like 120 euros for that and that will cost me like 220 euros and I’m able to get an second hand 3700x for that
