i remember you and this lmao. yeah for me i couldnt remove the epc at all. when i list it it shows as [enable | disable] beside it as in cant enable or disable so im stuck using crystal disk info on every boot up.

Giffany got a reaction from DobertRownySr in Is a 500Watt powersupply enough?
as with those above say better quality for sure. but more than to just wattage there is also amps that plays a role higher the better but at least with high quality ones that's normally not an issue. for example i have old 600watt psu's but also cheap and garbo but only 18amps on the 12volt rail... what the heck would i do with that? its in no way that would handle a gpu like a 690 or such and they would get hot and unstable if i attempted such (was for experimental purposes)

Giffany got a reaction from Zando_ in What is the normal temperature of CPU and GPU
indeed. but those models can do 95 max says on the spec sheets but i do encourage them being way lower though. 2700x is 85 but the 2600 models seem to be 95. my gpu well i could careless what it hits at it usually never stays sustained at those temps but will normally be 75 to 82 at most but why i said on a good day could be as far as above eheh.

besides the 3600x has max temp of 95c anyway so thats still kinda a joke to it. i mean obviously would not want it that hot at all but lots of thermal room for as is atm.

I'm glad to know that the units work! I found it and it was honestly easier to find it than to retype it all. ?

Thanks for sharing! The number of people who have touched on this subject is very small, I would like to give you a page first where there is a collection of HDD sounds recorded with failures, these sounds are indicators of an imminent failure, so if you hear a sound equal to these in your computer, swap that HDD as soon as possible: https://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php

Not everyone will play with the power settings of a HDD, how do you do it? WIth CrystalDiskMark? I once posted something to help people reduce the noise with our own tools but I forgot where it is. ? I will look for the thread and will post again, you may like it but it will take you time too. Just bear with me, I will post as soon as I find it...

might have to try some third party partition software like i got to rely on when drives are stubborn.. like partition magic or aomei partition assistant or something related if those are not your thing even. not sure if it will work but eh worth a try i fixed many stubborn usb thumbs with them though.

may look fine but who knows how stable the ripple and stuff it does is though. i had a 10 year old psu been working fine but i had my system blow one day. to this day dont know if it was the psu or the board was going hah.
