Is 70ºC for a Rysen 3600X in stress, normal?

Hey guys, I'm used to get 60ºC tops with my Intel chips and just recently jumped to Ryzen. I always heard that AMD has worse temps, is 70ºC on stress expected with the stock cooler?
Should I invest in a better cooler for now (I don't plan to overclock it in the near near future).

70 degrees C on a stock cooler is totally fine. Usually I would ask what your ambient temps are, but 70 C is entirely fine.

A better cooler will allow you to run it quieter, while retaining the same temps.

the max temp for this CPU is 95 degrees C, just to give you some perspective.

Its always good to buy a better cooler. But that temp is fine aslong as you dont expect to overclock (and yes i did read that you dont plan to)

I intend to but for what I see budget coolers seem to be as good as the stock one, so I planned to wait a bit to buy something better. I just got worried with these temps through.

If thats the case. Hold off on it. 70 degrees is plenty fine. Dont worry.

With the stock cooler on a 6 core? Doubtful

The 3600X may be a bit warm with the cooler it's included with but certainly not a bad temperature.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

From that I have seen, even the budget coolers still do a better job than the stock cooler.  The $40 Arctic Freezer 34 Esports Duo seems to show about a 6-8 degree improvement for example and even the Hyper 212 gives a fair amount of improvement. Still 70 degrees with a stock cooler doesn't seem all that bad.

High-end Intel CPUs don't come with a stock cooler, so with budget coolers. Also, up 'till recently most Intel CPU's were only quad-core.

besides the 3600x has max temp of 95c anyway so thats still kinda a joke to it. i mean obviously would not want it that hot at all but lots of thermal room for as is atm.
