Guest additions is what enables the drag and drop feature. So its probably not compatible with Catalina. You could try downloading the latest version and reinstalling it to see if that helps. Remember to restart after installing it.

Epimetheus got a reaction from SliceT in ASRock B450M PRO 4 vs MSI B450M PRO-VDH Plus
Asrock has a great build quality, as we already said in the original post you made about motherboards. For the warranty aspect, i don't really know how it works, so you may want to hear something from others before making the choice

If pricing is completely screwed against AMD in your market, dont buy them. If you can benefit from Quicksync export, dont go AMD or the Intel F CPUs / Skylake-X CPUs.
not guaranteed, only some of the high end boards have them

If you are editing H.264 or H.265 you can use the iGPU on intel non-F CPUs to accelerate the workflow. Not applicable to Red RAw and NEAT video, though. That's for Premier. After effects makes good use of Intel low latency but Photoshop, illustrator and other editing applications like FCPX, Sony Vegas or Davinchi Resolve are just better on Zen2.
For gaming, intel only makes sense with a 2080 Ti at 1080p 240Hz
In short, AMDs Zen2 is better in 90% of cases

Epimetheus got a reaction from Katarn in Which B450 is the Best for my System? (or should I rather go for the Z570)
The Tomahawk is considered better since it has good vrms and can support bios updating without a zen or zen+ cpu.Even better, the tomahawk max has compatibility out of the box and will support 4th gen ryzen too without problems due to its bigger bios. If you already have a 1st or 2nd gen ryzen chip, the Aorus Elite is a good choice too. I'd avoid the other too options, they're cheaply made. If you want to get x570, the lowest you should go is the Asus prime x570, surprisingly good for the price

I think it's because you're using a 95W tdp part on an intel stock cooler

Epimetheus got a reaction from Windows7ge in New PSU under 50$
Yeah, i had a friend with a low end thermaltake psu like that and if i remember correctly it kept rebooting the pc until it exploded? Not sure on the explosion part but it sure got replaced lol

Epimetheus reacted to Zando_ in Buy a eGPU or a full Rig? (Macbook Pro)
^^^ Rise of the Tomb Raider has a macOS and Linux version, that game is GPU intensive as all heck. Also I'm pretty sure you can get the eGPU working in Windows 10 under BootCamp.
OP, I'd go the eGPU route. Still more compact than a full PC, and:
^ this is a good point.

Epimetheus got a reaction from 5x5 in Which i5 should I get?
The 7600k would be the worst i5 on the market, if It wasn't discontinued. The 100 dollars Ryzen 5 1600 beats it

Epimetheus got a reaction from Ezzy-525 in Where do you draw the line on technology in your life?
That is a very conservative view about technology. Personally i'd just draw the line with implants but just as long as i know nothing about it, but could be open to it
