RuKiddin06 reacted to SuperPinwheel in 3 MILLION SUBSCRIBER GIVEAWAY
I would much enjoy winning the razer blade stealth, because then i can actually do something such as go to a friends house for a lan party, or increase the quality of my stream. Maybe i could enjoy myself going to my relatives house.

RuKiddin06 reacted to iamdarkyoshi in How can I make the life of this phishing scammer a living hell?
So I got a text from a "craiglist buyer" asking me to view the message by clicking the link. Very obviously a phishing scam. I certainly am not falling for it.
Here is the link:
The site obviously asks for the user's login (so I just typed random bullshit)
So I click login
and then redirects to a page on CL that 404s.
I want to either punish the person responsible for this, or at least somehow get his site taken down. How can I do this?

RuKiddin06 got a reaction from EChondo in Best variant of the r9 380 and the r9 390
It has to do with how each brand cools their cards. Asus does not always actively cool their VRM units, and that leads to poorer overclocking. I can only assume that gigabyte does something similar as the people before me compared the two brands. Sapphire and MSI both have a base-plate that cools the VRM. there really is no reason to not cool the VRM, I don't know why Asus doesn't.
It might also have to do with the power delivery itself. both MSI and Sapphire have good power delivery systems.

The Scimitar looks awesome, but why is it YELLOW!? Can that plastic piece have the color changed?

RuKiddin06 reacted to AresKrieger in An Important Message for All PC Gamers!
Well EA really needs to stop ruining series for me to consider them trust worthy, also PC gamers preordering seems odd due to steam sales and the impossibility of a lack of availability due to games being sold out

RuKiddin06 reacted to PlayStation 2 in Best GPU for Scenario
While a 295X2 would do really good, a 390 or 390X would be a better choice than the 295X2 as more usable memory

RuKiddin06 reacted to DarrenP in Suggestions for helping me to decide what gpu to get?
I'd recommend the R9 390X. As it has higher amount of VRAM, than it's NVidia counterparts.

Agreed @DarrenP , Get a r9 390x.

RuKiddin06 reacted to AresKrieger in Star Wars Battlefront Opinion Poll
My personal opinion is slightly in the nay category but would like to see others thoughts, also don't click nay if the reason is a failure to work due to gpu issues

RuKiddin06 got a reaction from don_svetlio in fx 4300 vs g3258
In that case, I would just grab a gpu, and save for an i3, or even an i5. If I could do my build over, I would have gone with an i5, and just saved a bit more.

RuKiddin06 reacted to Shoob in fx 4300 vs g3258
If he already has the FX then there's no point changing platforms unless upgrading to an i5 or something of that level. I thought that the question was about buying a new system, sorry.

RuKiddin06 reacted to PlayfulPhoenix in Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure
We've had quite a busy week! Apologies for the lack of photos, but here's a cluster I think you'll find interesting.
In this picture, we have some prototype parts on racks, already powder coated, and ready to go into the kiln. This is actually one of the final steps in the process, and takes place just before assembly. And here you have the controls for the kiln. The top modules control temperature, which is held very steady as the paint is cured. Note that the powder coatings themselves are dry as they enter the oven, and dry as they come out, however - the temperature is what causes it (the powder) to chemically react, and bind temporarily, creating the coating. -

RuKiddin06 reacted to Snadzies in GPU Minimum PSU power
Any GPU that does not require additional 6 or 8 pin power cables and instead draws all its power from the PCIE lanes basically can not use more than about 75watts as that is all the power that the PCIE slot can supply.
Even though said cards can't physically draw more than 75 watts of power you'll often see the manufacturers suggest much higher wattage PSUs as the recommended wattage you see manufacturers list for GPUs is usually grossly over inflated just to cover their asses in case people have very bad quality GPUs or some very odd setup that draws a lot of power else where.
The two large power draws in a PC are the CPU and GPU.
Most CPUs draw somewhere between 35w and 125w max and with that 75w GPU you really shouldn't every hit more that 200w at full load and that is worse case scenario.

I'd love a beige one. would totally buy it, along with some Noctua fans, and a nice colorful motherboard. It'd be awesome.

I would say it's more of a game/immersion breaking thing. Nothing like breezing through the game because your companion can take a rocket to the face and barely flinches.
