Fasauceome reacted to 8tg in White 1000W PSU Search
It’s from 3 years ago, the white version probably just didn’t sell well and usually those secondary product variants get cut pretty quick. Most people were probably buying the normal black variant. It’s not uncommon for that to happen to any pc product with different color variants these days.

I would recommend basically anything superflower offers in the same spec, they’ve got a bunch of 80+ gold, 1000w+ white psus.
    I would get a leadex 7 XG https://www.newegg.com/super-flower-leadex-vii-xg-1000w-1000-w/p/1HU-024C-00059?

yes, should be fine. What CPU are you using? Can't imagine it's pulling more than 100 watts.

Nah, you basically said it already that if the CPU is not near throttling, lower temps won't help. Max of 76C is also a pretty nice and low operating temp in general.

Fasauceome got a reaction from Silencix in Good budget PSU for R5 1600AF and 4060?
I would not use the 1x2400. Ryzen is very sensitive to ram speeds, and a Ryzen 5 1600AF should be accompanied by 2x DDR4 2800 or higher

Yes, I think that would be a fine choice.

Do you already have the 1x8GB and 1x16GB? What speed are they?

I agree but I couldn't find the same model in a lower wattage. If you do, and it's cheaper, it's a good choice

I often use this site as a reference for PSU quality because it's a good comprehensive spot for the info
    https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/
That cougar unit falls in tier C and everything else I can find on Mercado Libre looks like tier F and lower, or too old to be on the tier list. It might be worth it to bump up your budget

    What psu?

A 550w only having one is odd so that makes me concerend about the quality.

Also no you shouldn't. You'd be asking DOUBLE the power of the cable and they are NOT rated to do rhat. Thats usually how you kill your system

Kinda depends on the GPU & PSU and what exactly you meant by "multiply it"
    but generally not recommended.

3050 6gb, RX 6400, gtx 1650, arc a310 are the most popular low profile cards right now. 3050 is probably the best.

It's possible that the motherboard just needs a BIOS update to be compatible with the CPU, as the 8700G is pretty recently released.

Luckily, it looks like your board has a BIOS Flashback feature - that's what the button on the rear IO is for. The port to insert the USB stick into is the one right next to the PS/2 port at the top per the manual:
Here's a video from the official Aorus Youtube channel that explains the process:

Did you update the BIOS of the motherboard? I would guess the firmware is not up to date for this brand new CPU

I've been using a program called OpenRGB recently
    https://openrgb.org/
But gigabyte has Aorus RGB software that you could use to control the lights as well. Both programs are free so it's your choice.

Some gigabyte boards have RGB control in the BIOS but I think it's AORUS motherboards only and the DS3H is one of the lower end gigabyte boards in terms of features.

Yeah I am thinking you might want to reach out to Corsair support and see about a replacement cable for this power supply. Their customer care is pretty good and they might replace your cables free of charge.
