Theres a filter by date, but it bundles dates by modified, which means that different sessions are combined together >.<

That's okay, I understand. It surprised me too the first time I used it and then I realized what it could do but the fact that everything is disorganized tires me. If you have enough time you could save some bucks by recovering everything in a folder and then go review file by file and go organizing them manually in separate folders???? Or you could use a tool that organizes everything for you.

Synology NAS for the most part are small business devices - especially since we'd be talking about 4+ bay higher end devices like the DS918+ and up. The consumer devices are generally tagged with 'j' or 'play'. They also both have AD integration and they can be an AD Server themselves.

We use these in offices with 20-30 users for storage.

I would argue that AD is not typically hosted on the storage server. In medium sized businesses storage should exclusively be storage. Typically for a robust AD for a medium company you want 2 AD servers in your forest for consistency, typically on different physical hosts. Your storage is generally seperate so you can do regular maintenance on your other servers (ESXi/Hyper-V etc..require updates too...) without taking down your storage. For a small business (e.g 20 people) then a device like this would be fine with a single controller, you just have to ensure that you do regular backups of the NTDS & SYSVOL.

Domain Controllers should always be a standalone instance. It can be virtual, or it can be physical - but yes dedicated. Beyond a single point of failure, it's bad practice to add more risks to your domain controller - it should have as few services running as possible. Ideally it is further isolated from the rest of the environment but that's out of scope for this thread.

You don't have to explicitly know how big his business is, he stated he isn't in IT. A company without either dedicated IT or a MSP doesn't warrant an expensive and complicated configuration.

A turnkey solution is one that works out of the box, no special configuration. In pratice you should be up and going within an hour and wtihout google. Any issues should be a phonecall to the vendor, not a google search for anyone like OP. Something breaks, he can point his finger to the vendor (good old "cover your ass").

Become a big youtuber. Have someone else's system causing you a lot of trouble. Have people calling you a number of disgusting things and attacking you personally. Be insulted, exasperated, disappointed and distressed by the whole thing. Throw together a non-scripted, ad-hoc stream trying to address the issue. In your already-insulted, exasperated, disappointed and distressed state, just slap some title on the stream and a quick picture of yourself. "REEEEE CLICKBAIT!" "ONLY DOING THIS FOR MONEIES!!!111ONEONEELEVEN"

Like everybody else said.... how exactly? He took time out of his weekend to do a stream from home explaining the situation, don't see how that's clickbaiting for views and valuing money over doing the right thing, he specifically inconvenienced himself to do the right thing and tell people what's actually going on instead of people spouting a bunch of misinformation because "hurr durr LTT is bigg company so they badd".

how so?  he mentioned it in wan show, which isnt watched by most regular viewers, and he made a single video responding to all the complaints.(which i believe wasnt even monetized)
i would not call taking advantage of the situation

If anything, Eli is the one taking advantage.  hes now made 2 videos talking about it, with a ton of miss-information, obviously not understanding how content ID actually works, and he wasnt even affected by it.  Eli has a dying channel and is using the situation to get views with whats effectively outrage marketing.

@Firewrath9 at the end of the day, go with what you can afford as that is what is best for you. I will mention though that while we list warranty duration's on products as, we don't really care about that, if you ever run into an issue with our product, you contact our support team and we'll get you taken care of right away. We also test all cables prior to shipping to ensure you're given a plug and play solution. Peace of mind.

OP I personally have the MX34VQ and it's a great monitor. It replaced my PG279Q and it's great. The wireless charging in the base is an awesome feature and the only negative is at night you can sometimes see a bit of ghosting

I use a Samsung VA 3440 X 1440 60hz panel. In testing with my GTX 1080 I found that 65 fps was the average frame rate on AAA games. When I used a GTX 980 ti it was in the low 50s. AAA games are a lot harder to play now so I us a GTX 1080 ti.

For a monitor to be a success with your video card you will need a Freesync range that goes into the 40s.
Here is a good reference. https://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors
