Linus just tweeted that unfortunately we lost Tyler. Tyler was an amazing person, according to what most people said. And from what I saw on camera I agree. I'm really sorry for his loss. If there is anything the tech community can do to help his family, Im sure we'll be able to. May he rest in peace.🤍🤍

Some "Team Radeon" Newsletter subscribers received the following email before 8 am CST, I received this email at 7:39 AM CST, I have been subscribed to the newsletter for a few years now.
What are your thoughts on this, essentially they gave "fans" a chance to buy before the public, I was able to place in cart at 7:40 and kept on refreshing until 7:42 as it became out of stock.

Can AMD claim that this was not a paper launch, and that they let fans get it first? Does Andre get ten whole buckaroos? five?

Run a hwinfo log for me will ya.
Start the log and play the game that seems to suffer the most if that makes sense.

When you open HWiNFO, choose the option for Sensors only, and if prompted, hit continue. 
Also if prompted, do not download the beta version.
 
How to create a log:
Open HWiNFO and choose sensors only.
Then in the bottom right there is an icon that looks like a spreadsheet with a green plus on it.
Click that button to start logging, the green plus will switch to a red X to let you know its saving data. 
It will also ask you for a file name and where to save it. I save them to my desktop, name it whatever you want.
Otherwise after a length of time click the spreadsheet again so the red X turns back to a green + to stop the logging.
You now have a log file to view and share.

You can view the log using the GenericLogViewer addon here https://www.hwinfo.com/add-ons/
Download, extract, run GenericLogViewer.exe, click the open file button in the top right and point it to the log file you made above.
Use the dropdown in the upper right to choose which category to view

I was listening to Ride the Lightning podcast yesterday. They talked about the new battery cells. The most impressive part was the range increase on the Tri-motor Cybertruck.
He has a source stating that the Tri-motor variant would be having a 560 mile range with the new 4680 cells. He also said that "It may be more than 560 miles by the production".
His source also said that the steering wheel has been changed from the prototype. 
 
Let's assume Cybertruck is having 580 miles of range. Add the optional solar panel in the back to increase range. I'm very excited to see the range of the Cybertruck.

Germany is actually where most electronics are grown. A German can just grow a Threadripper tree in their yard, or go to the local orchard and get a bushel. They have to be shipped to the US so the tariffs kill the value.

Spending £1000 for a 10% increase in performance is a very bad idea. If you are happy with that upgrade, then you'll surely be happy with what you currently have. Are there any issues with your current build that means you need to upgrade?
