The plastic and noctua spacers came today.

Not the same exact shade of blue, but they still look like they will match well enough.

The ABS and PETG seem to bond real well too, that's real good.  PLA tends to not bond with ABS as well.

Now let's hope that this dual extrusion print goes well.

  2. Most non rual areas of America has recycling bins, San Francisco actually had 3 bins, an extra one just for composte. But yeah, America is pretty behind when it comes to being "green" with many practices. I figured that you weren't from America actually, it's 3 in the morning here, most of us are asleep right now. I'm probably gonna go to bed as well after I finish my beer.
  3. I live in a rual part of Oregon, and yeah, it sucks. I have a 3D printer that can take PETG though (glycol modified PET) so if I get the right equipment I can probably recycle most soda bottles for printing purposes. But otherwise there is no realistic way for me to recycle that wouldn't be a massive inconvenience unfortunately.

How to make your smartphone looks cooler

Glitter. Lots and lots of glitter.
  5. Exactly, I was talking about solutions to problems instead of "plastic bad" or "don't take my straws away you hippies" since that's how progress is made. Yeah, proper recycling can go a long ways, but that's not only on the individual, but the city in question as well. There is no recycling services where I live, so I do my best to improvise.
  6. Correct, PLA is rather recent, but that doesn't stop it from being a solution to the problem. Also, there have been biodegradable polymers for much longer, and straws tend to be some form of PET, which is extremely easy to recycle. That means that people need to stop throwing them on the ground though.

Rather sweet for a stout, but still fucking bitter.

I taste coca powder, but no coca butter.

Por favor, dígale a su esposa de caimán que ella es libre de hacer saltos en el mostrador.

  9. Someone from the local truck stop gave this calendar to me for free, probably for promotional purposes.

So I decided to improve upon it the only way I know how.

Meh, she's kinda thin. But there I go, objectifying women and imposing unrealistic body standards or something.

I wouldn't say that. I'm a man, I've got my likes and dislikes, and I'll be damned if anyone tells me to make an exception to my preferences.

      Spoiler

Which I am completely willing to do on my own accord.

AMD Zen 2 vs 9900k More Cores = faster CPU ?

I actually like the brown fans, but I agree that they clash with many PC builds. I have redux and chromax noctua fans, the redux being a two tone grey and the chromax being all black except the spacers, in which you get to choose the colors.

AMD Zen 2 vs 9900k More Cores = faster CPU ?

Oh, no there is a specific TR4 version. The two on the top and bottom are TR4 heatsinks, the one in the middle is a standard one (direct heatpipe method). My noctua performs better then a 280AIO (nzxt kraken). Yeah, it's probably a supply issue. I'm sure that a Threadripper 3000 will be released eventually, perhaps Noctua knows something that we don't with a release date in 2020. And yes, Noctua is worth every penny, they are indeed ugly, but they are some of the best performers on the market.

AMD Zen 2 vs 9900k More Cores = faster CPU ?

Wrong. I have a dark rock pro tr4. On a 1920x, ambient temperature of 20c, I hit tjmax in 47 seconds, my single tower NH-u14 tood 4 minutes and 23 seconds.

Unless your news source is less then 48 hours old then you're incorrect. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.digitaltrends.com/computing/amd-threadripper-ryzen-3000-cpus-wont-replace/%3famp But please do tell if you have more recent news, as someone who has a Threadripper CPU, I would be highly interested. Furthermore, here's how you properly souce when a company states that something is going to be released.
  14. The only way I see it costing 20 dollars is if he's including the heatsink. My statement was geared towards the conversation regarding plastic straws, which is why I quoted multiple people. I wasn't targeting a single person, but those who were engaging in the debate. And I did read your sentences, you told someone who was complaining about AMD's packaging being too expensive (even though they are most likely incorrect) that they sound like the kind of guy who would vote against plastic straws. So you decided to use an irrelevant comparison to what is a real world problem, albeit a minor one. But go ahead and take my last sentence as personally as you want, not my problem. Also, you're welcome for the information.
