How are you? My grandfather is in the hospital (non-critical) getting treatment for COVID. I believe I caught COVID since I'm visiting said grandfather, but my symptoms were mild. Headache, low grade fever, body aches, slight cough, and loss of sweet taste.

@DrMacintosh i had a fever, Horrible Headaches still have it a bit but much minor. haven't lost my sense of taste or smell though Hope your grandfather is doing well though cause its probably way harder on him then either of us.

Then there's other issues such as NVIDIA blocking the use of desktop cards in VMs so unless you have a Quadro, Tesla...

Admittedly there is a way to circumvent this using QEMU/KVM but the full process requires GNU/Linux to be the hypervisor. UnRAID also has its own workaround (OS based on Linux (RHL specifically I believe)). Using Windows as the host however, again. I've not heard of any software capable of GPU pass-through. Pretty much everything on the free/paid market is Linux based.

For this reason if you only want to play with GNU/Linux gaming just to try it I would dual boot. It's more likely to behave as intended since stability isn't always guaranteed in a VM.
