Buy a 8-12tb external hdd like these:

    https://www.currys.co.uk/products/seagate-expansion-desktop-external-hard-drive-10-tb-black-10233510.html
    https://www.seagate.com/gb/en/products/external-hard-drives/expansion-external-drives/

Then open them up and harvest the hdd goodness at half the price of the standalone hdd.

i did this for an 8tb western digital mybook and now a 10tb seagate external drive saved alot.

    video for refrence

Not sure about how raid will work with a new drive or with two different sizes though.

My case only has 2 hdd storage aswell so what i did rather than wait for usb speeds for 15tb of data, I checked the external drive worked in windows then i dissasbled the external drive, plug in the new drive with sata un secured, sata cable through the front window, copy the data over when i got everything took out the hdd i replaced and properly installed it.

I was not in a raid but i dont see how you couldnt copy the data over the same way or just do it via usb before you change the raid config

Yup you can do that normally.

I'd make sure you have a backup first though, just in case.

No headphone does worthwhile noise cancelling for your price point  and all the good noise cancelling headphones are t good for monitoring. For monitoring voice over or monitoring in general you would want a flat audio response if your monitoring yourself you want something closed back.

    Some perfect options are
Ath m40x . These aren't very comfortable but if you replace the pads with brainwavz hm5's you got a great sounding comfortable headphone. Good bass but mostly flat

Status audio cb-1 nice flat response sounds better than m40x or takstar IMO but not by much very comfortable but the build quality feels a bit shotty

Takstar pro 82 extremely comfortable has switches that change how strong the bass is. But on it's stock response it's pretty flat. Built very well. This is my first choice closed back headphone at this price point

Hi, so assuming that you know about the windows media creation tool what you could do is create a bootable usb and install it onto the ssd, meanwhile if you have a backup drive you could transfer all of youre files onto that backup drive, and copy them onto the new ssd with a new install of windows. To activate windows you could use the product key off the bottom of youre laptop (if you have one) or the product key off of the install disc if it has one and go from there.

    Simply put, no.

If you want a good editor, there are few options on the PC. The major ones are Resolve and Premiere. There are a few others like Sony Vegas or Cyber Link Power Director, but both of those are not free.

Free software has little incentive to become better, so its more than likely that any free software that is out there is going to have similar issues to what you are experiencing now.

If you are desperate, there are ways to acquire paid software without paying, but the community guidelines prevent me from helping you directly.

After a while i have decided that Project Ryzen is back on!   I will aim to save about 80 a fortnight, aswell as any drips and drabs that I have lying around.   So by April next year I should be able to start buying parts   AMD Ryzen 7 1800x ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 in white EVGA 650 watt PUSU Corsair Vengence DDR4 RAM in white (16gb kit at 3000mhz) Asrock B350 PRO4 ATX Motherboard white Cooler Master Liquid Lite 120 AIO CPU cooler Areocool Areo 800 case in white   How will this system run?    I already have SSDs and HDDs and what not with Windows and games already on so i dont need them. Then when I have my own place I can refit the old PC to act as my NAS and editing work station.

Actually, it does bottleneck (i know, definition nitpicking)
The Graphics Card is the bottleneck here (in most cases)

Ryzen 5 1600 could deliver more fps - if the GPU were faster --> GPU is the bottleneck.

However, this doesn't mean, this is anything negative or bad. A GPU Bottleneck is the ideal state for a Gaming PC.

Play anything in 4k Ultra --> GPU is the bottleneck. Doesn't matter if it's a GTX 1050 or Titan Xp.
Not true. There is ALWAYS a Bottleneck. Otherwise you would have unlimited fps. There is always something preventing you from having unlimited fps. CPU, Ram, GPU, Game Engine...

What people should get out of their heads is: Bottleneck beeing anything NEGATIVE.
It's not possible for ANY Gaming PC to NOT have a Bottleneck. That's basic common sense when you think about the definition of "Bottleneck".
Whenever your GPU runs at 100%, this is a Bottleneck.
Whenever your CPU runs at 100%, this is a Bottleneck.
Because on both these situations, the performance COULD be higher, if the component would have more performance.

People should question themself: Do you have enough fps for YOU? Simple yes or no question.

If you have enough fps, who cares if there is a bottleneck?
CS:GO will probably still have a CPU Bottleneck with 300 fps. So what? You have a clear bottleneck. But is that bad? You have enough fps.

If you do NOT have enough fps, check where the problem is. If your CPU does not deliver enough fps, it does not matter what GPU you pair it with (GT 1030, or Titan X OC), you will NEVER have enough fps. Because the CPU won't be able to deliver more fps suddenly with a different GPU.

Like, if your CPU only manages 50 fps. No matter what GPU, you won't get more.
But with a stronger GPU you can increase Image quality. use DSR for a higher internal render resolution, higher textures, details etc. If you have to stick to 50 fps, you can at least make the image prettier

    The higher the better.
As long it runs stable. Ryzen is not known to be Ram friendly.

But pls, stay away from 2400 Mhz, let alone this slow cripple 2133 Mhz.

Get a good 3000-3200 Mhz 2x 8gb Kit, even if you have to reduce it to 2933 Mhz or 2800 Mhz, or even 2666. Better have it than need it. Chances are good, that it will work with around 3000 Mhz~ in most cases.
Just do a Bios update on your Motherboard early.

Btw: GTX 1060 6gb is obviously better^^ By around 60-70%~
But it costs alot more... Also thanks to Mining.

The 1050 wouldn't bottleneck the Ryzen 5 1600, where did you hear that? Even the GTX 780 doesn't bottleneck the 1600(I personally run this config and speak from experience).

In terms of bang for buck, I would recommend the 1060, even if it's the 3Gb variant, over the 1050Ti any day if it can be found for a reasonable price.

You can transfer files over Ethernet.
