The X8OBN is the chassis.  -F is the baseboard that everything attaches to. -CPU is the CPU board where the Xeons and ram sit, which are connected to said baseboard at the bottom and to other CPU boards by BR1.
 
Think of it as a modular Motherboard.  That chassis you listed retails for over $100k lol

Goodluck with 144Hz lol unless your playing older gen games a single gtx780 wont consistantly drive 1440p at that refresh rate.
 
Realistically set it to 96-110Hz and enjoy.
 
If you use Toastyx's patch you still need to go into the nvidia control panel and set it to your new refresh rate.  Also Ive noticed after a restart it will sometimes revert back down to 60Hz

Couldnt agree more. The fanboyism, immaturity and shitposting really deter me from being more active here.  When I see stupid posts like "Ask a X anything" I ignore them but its definitely discouraging. Like you I attribute this garbage and immaturity to the younger crowd on the forums, and frankly these forums are dominated by that demographic likely due to time/work constraints once you get older.  At the end of the day what can you do.  There are still kind and knowledgable people on this forum, regardless of age, and I suppose thats what keeps me around. I dont see any way to moderate or filter the bad from the good here; its up to the community as a whole to dictate the demeanour of these forums.

There is always a strong debate on topics like "Plants have feelings too" "You dont eat meat but you eat plants that are alive" etc.  Maybe Im different from a lot of vegetarians, but I could care less what other people eat.  My friends would order a steak in front of me and tease me "Oh it tastes like murder, its so delicious" etc, wouldnt ever bother or phase me.  As I got older I've realized that arguments like this are futile.  You're not going to change the opinion of someone over an internet debate... So do whatever makes you happy.  If you like meat, go ahead and eat a 72Oz steak.  I can only influence the decisions I make for my self, and personally I choose to abstain as I dont have any need for meat in my diet.

There's a few AI campuses in Vancouver, but they're all located near a skytrain station.
The skytrain basically opens up pretty much every area, really. Transit is amazing in Vancouver. They're also opening up the Evergreen line in a year or so which will extend pretty deep into Coquitlam.
Then they should begin the UBC line.

Not going to spend more to live in AB. Especially with the much, much higher electricity costs.
His rent went up 29% in 2 months! The lack of rental regulation and proper renters laws made me move back.
Sure, If I was making $50k+ a year it wouldn't be as bad, but I was just starting a few courses. The higher tax rate was a huge turn off.

It's really not that bad. He's likely not buying property. It's the same price rental wise to live in Edmonton or Calgary.

You'll love it! Definitely do it. You can always live in Burnaby, Coquitlam, New West, etc if you want cheaper rent. They're all within the GVRD which, really, is one large city.

Selected the 1440p since my monitor supports it, then I remembered I play BF4 at this res everyday lol

SLI 780s have no issues at 1440p Ultra BF4. Constant 120fps.  I couldnt be happier, and until we get 4k monitors that can do 120Hz Ill be keeping my Korean panel.

1. Go to nearest gun shop
2. Buy Auto-shotgun + frag rounds
3. equip yourself with it + Flak jacket
4. come to his house
5. Go full Russian

I would keep testing, but don't go above 1.3V if want your CPU to last. Past that, without adequate cooling (LN2) the silicon starts to decay and in a matter of moths it can just get fried up and die. Not to mention that 1.3V is the absolute maximum for a stable 24/7 operation of the processor. Anyways, 4.6GHz is a pretty good overclock on that CPU with that voltage. Many people can't get theirs to run stable at 4.3GHz so you do have an above average processor for sure.
