It sounds so simple to say, but seeing the audiences response to everything over the last 2 weeks (from both sides), sadly i don't think it's possible.

Epson ain't much better, look into getting a Brother printer if you really need one. Brother mostly seems to have stayed away from the really sketchy stuff.

Edit: But do check for the specific model you wish to get, they're not all good.

Brother is the only printer brand I'll willingly buy unless I have a very specific reason to get something else. I've owned multiple Brother printers over the years, and my current inkjet is an all-in-one Brother unit that is several years old. It just sits on my home network and works like a charm (as long as the ink cartridges are fine), and it doesn't even require extra drivers for at least Windows and macOS.

    Oh this is quite nice.

The problem won't go away and self control is very hard when social media is engineered to break that. So it being outright banned during those hours for underage users is great.

I did know and I think it's more than fair to call Apollo or other tools helpful to moderators as mod tools. I don't appreciate having words put in my mouth.

People on Reddit do know what's happening and they've decided they don't want to allow Reddit's greed to continue unchallenged. If you disagree with them that is your perogative but it is disingenious to say that people don't know what's happening. Reddit is advancing a narrative and you seem to believe them, which as I said is fair enough and it is your perogative, but not everybody will share that view and people have the right to their own opinion.

That's just JB hi-fi. Other electronics stores in Australia don't usually stock movies and music. JB hi-fi is one of the few places left that still stock a decent selection of physical media. I think physical media has stuck around longer in Australia due to lack of quality digital services and shitty internet, though in the last 10 or so years that has changed. Physical media is definitely on the decline.

I am not anti Space X.  I want them to succeed.  You know REALLY succeed not some hard core crystal copium definition of it.

You bet I am a NASA Booster.

My tiny little suburb is home to two NASA astronauts.  One of which walked on the Moon.  The other worked on the ISS and is working on something called the Sierra Nevada Dream chaser.   Now I'm not going to space myself but I have a little hand in LISA, a space probe that will measure gravitational waves from merging Black holes in a way that hasn't been done before, .  Well really formulating fundamental physics theories that will be tested by it as part of one of the science teams.

    Isn't that cool?

It can rid any number of rockets to orbit and land like a plane.   I'd prefer that to Star Ships proposed "suicide dive" mod of landing.

(Mods sometimes remove this kind of comment as "self doxxing" I wish they would not.  Ok, I live near Chicago people fear Chicago, and my sates cyberstalking laws are both strong and reasonable.  Don't worry about me).

Its kind of a yes and no, when everything becomes a deepfake, one might get used to it. Although a lot of damage can happen before and some after.
The damage is already happening for some. Just as one dont think or care when it comes to models on altered images (but some will though). catfishing is always more of a problem, and remote feelings are going to be attacked or exploited more.

No more than photoshop. The amount of effort needed to Deepfake someone to the extent that it looks real, is very high.

The switch is going to be absolute garbage when it comes to game saves, because amazingly not only can you not save your game to the cartridge like the entire ds family but you also cannot save your game to an sd card, so your only back up option is cloud saves which  you need to pay subscription for, honestly I am surprised people aren't more angry about that considering that literally every game console let you make backups of your games without needing to pay the company that made the console.

Nissan leaf, I'm sorry you might have an argument for internet,  but him "kicking off wide spread adoption" of EV's is bullshit, before I came to Canada and I was living in Jordan where I read somewhere about 20% of new car sales are EV's if I recall correctly, I almost never see Teslas on the street there, if I had to guess I would say that I see maybe see 1 tesla for every 10 nissan leafs and for each Nissan leaf I probably see about 15 toyota priuses, more environmentally friendly cars are not a thing he kicked off, and if I had to guess, its a north American thing that teslas are the most popular because I see the opposite trend here (yes I know you are from Australia and the sitiuation there might be different but I have a feeling it could be a similar sitiuation, I have just had enough of people talking about this without knowing that it may be different in other places).

    Along these lines

What I have done in the past to diagnose something as being a software VS hardware issue is install a different OS.  When I used to dual boot Linux and Windows if an issue existed in one OS but not the other it was a problem with software.  IF an issue existed in both it was probably hardware.  Backup your data.  Try installing Linux if you use windows or vice versa and see if the "hardware issue" still exist.

Then warranty time if it does.

Denying someone has a disability for the purpose of derision is mocking, its the definition. It was intentionally brought up with the intention of clowning on the guy to weaken the guys public arguments. Now you can apologize for the misunderstanding, but in no way, shape, or form, is what was done defendable as "not mocking"

Claiming someone is not disabled publicly because they are able to walk the 10 feet from a handicap spot to a store front is mocking.

I'm sure it can be managed, I am from a poor country with very little public transport but I know that companies run buses to pick up their workers and take them to the factory because the workers are too poor to own a car. It is doable, one case does not prove anything, are you really telling me that the workers don't need to commute to the plant? You can still have public transport even if its not a residential neighborhood in the middle of a city.
