just get coloured tubing it doesn't have to cloudy effect that mayhem fluids do though but i am lazy so i like my computer to be easy to clean and cleaning out radiators with a shitty fluid in them thats blocking the flow of water isnt worth it i would rather play my games then spend my time cleaning out my custom loop

Two days Ago I realised I needed to get my PC of the floor so I could install some drawers under my desk.  The problem with putting my pc on the desk is that it needed to be smaller. The problem with smaller is the old fermi furnace inside my case can barely handle the temp. of my room as it is.  The room is a studio, it has no windows, no airflow, is fully insulated and has curtains surrounding most of it.  In fact when I turn the projector and pc on together the room regularly reaches 40oC in summer.
 
So the problem is I need a small case with adequate cooling for an inadequate environment and I don't want it to be louder plus I want it done in a day.
 
 
ENTER:  The Quick and Dirty case mod.  
 
Please excuse the quality of the pictures, because I did it in a day I didn't bother using a real camera.
 
Original case: lost the picture, nut it was a coolermaster ripoff, big and ugly.
 
 
The case I want to use but clearly need's modding to improve airflow and not be quite so hideous.

Success,  Without increasing the noise, the GPU runs at 39oC at idle 55oC normal running and about 80oC under moderate load.
 
CPU seems to hang around the 41 mark per core and under load about 56oC

You all have to remember it also depends on the game you're running. Like for example Skyrim on high you'd be fine with one 780 to run it on ultra. if you went with two 780's with rift you'd probably be fine as well. if you had TI you definitely would be.

I would say sell that 7970 for 350-400 on ebay and get a 780 or 780ti.

Spending over $3500 (including peripherals) on a Computer system, and no SSD and a budget non modular powersupply.

i bought a whole computer, mouse, keyboard and os included  but forgot to get a monitor,
 and i put vodka in my loop thinking i could use it as a biocide

If you would like another game tested just ask.
BF4: Constant 80 FPS on 48 man server. Drops down when under heavy fire (Tanks and all that shit) but don't notice any lag spikes at all.

Very nice review, but I really want a better camera if I was going to buy a smartphone...
