Maverik5124 got a reaction from Enfentonk in How to: Ai Suite III on Z77 boards
I have successfully installed Ai Suite III on my P8Z77-V board. It is a lot more stable and not as slow as the old version. As far as I can tell everything works.
I have looked for this for a long time so I thought I'd share.

    I used this guide:

WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

I see this thread is still going. Read the first few pages.

    The word scummy was ill-chosen.

But the simple fact ramains that if everyone blocked the ads in my content Linus Tech Tips wouldn't exist. Period.

Those suggesting that I complain to Google... Do you think I can just call up Eric Schmidt and let him know I don't like the way they implement ads on YouTube? I laughed out loud.

YouTube isn't perfect but it's my best shot at running a viable business here so I can pay my employees and feed my family, so that's what I use. Those of you who opt to consume the content without supporting it, fine you're not "scummy". Come up with your own word for it

Talking about price, one thing that people forget, is that if you go with a MacBook Air, you need to buy an a tablet as well. And assuming you want the same eco-system, it will be an iPad. And you still live in a 2 world environment, where you have files on both device, and different programs to work with and hope they are inter compatible without issue.

They chose the size and aspect ratio in an effort to mimic the size of a standard sheet of paper (8.5x11").  For notetakers this is extremely useful as it makes the transition from pen/paper to tablet easier and if you want to share or print your notes they won't have to be scaled.

Maverik5124 reacted to TechFan@ic in [UPDATE] Official : FreeSync Launched, Dubbed Adaptive-Sync.
As of today AMD's adaptive refresh rate technology "FreeSync" very much akin to Nvidia's G-Sync has been officially ratified as a VESA standard in Displayport 1.2a and is now officially known as Adaptive-Sync.

How Adaptive-Sync can work to reduce power consumption and improve content presentation.

Furthermore the Adaptive-Sync technology will be offered to all panel makers free of charge. This is quite different from G-Sync which requires the panel maker to pay Nvidia a licensing fee.

    http://www.brightsideofnews.com/2014/05/12/vesa-adds-adaptive-sync-displayport-1-2-standard/

Update : AMD has just released a Q&A about Adaptive-Sync and how it relates to FreeSync.

Q: When can I buy a monitor compatible with Project FreeSync?
A: AMD has undertaken every necessary effort to enable Project FreeSync in the display ecosystem. Monitor vendors are now integrating the DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync specification and productizing compatible displays. AMD is working closely with these vendors to bring products to market, and we expect compatible monitors within 6-12 months.

Q: What are the requirements to use FreeSync?
A: To take advantage of the benefits of Project FreeSync, users will require: a monitor compatible with DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync, a compatible AMD Radeon GPU with a DisplayPort connection, and a compatible AMD Catalyst graphics driver. AMD plans to release a compatible graphics driver to coincide with the introduction of the first DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync monitors.

Q: What AMD Radeon GPUs are compatible with Project FreeSync?
A: The first discrete GPUs compatible with Project FreeSync are the AMD Radeon R9 290X, R9 290, R7 260X and R7 260 graphics cards. Project FreeSync is also compatible with AMD APUs codenamed “Kabini,” “Temash,” “Beema,” and “Mullins.” All compatible products must be connected via DisplayPort to a display that supports DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync.

Q: How is Project Freesync different from NVIDIA G-Sync?
A: While both technologies have similar benefits, G-Sync uses expensive and proprietary hardware. In contrast, Project FreeSync utilizes the industry-standard DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync specification to promote wider adoption, lower cost of ownership, and a broad ecosystem of compatibility.

You can read the full Q&A here which includes more questions and answers.

Well then what the **** are we waiting for better dive in.

    First up the gt 705

This sexy thing is a rebadge of the gt 610 which was a rebadge of gt 520. spicy.

Let me throw some numbers at you
48 CUDA CORES 64 BIT MEMORY BUS a jesus tier of only 29watts under full load An awesome process size of 40nm If i was you id wait for the classified or lightning versions of this card, you could maybe push it up by 1000mhz.

    Next up the...

    GT 710

This lady killer isnt a rebadge of the of Gt 620, whats this madness, its a rebadge of the gt 630, actually no its not, this is a cut down gt 630, madness is it, whatever.

Lets get down to the stats
Uses the genetically superior pci-e gen 2.0 lane. supports DX 11 has 512mb of memory, wait a sec thats less then the 705, i guess the AMD marketers went to nvidia for a day. Thats all i can say about that card, I recommed you wait for a sapphire version, even though this is nvidia im sure a 8gb vram version will be arriving soon after launch.

    LASTLY

    the new god('s servant),

    the new flagship(mascot),

Here it is the GT 720

This you might notice is the same as the above card but its superior.

Its not a half rebrand, ITS A FULL REBRAND.

This card has a full 1gb of vram. If you convert that to bytes its 1.0737 X 10^9 which is a big number, if you tried to count to that number it would take... A LONG TIME.

Unlike the ferocity of the above cards, this one is on a whole new level, those cards have a straightly 1 smx unit whereas this dragonslayer has 2 smx units. THATS 200% THE PERFORMANCE, i think.

It also has the DNA of the gtx titan, the 680, 770, titan black, titan brown, every voodoo card and that crazy tall guy from fractal.

Well then its been great but thats everything ive got today lads, follow EVGA's step up plans because im sure you titan wielders will be gunning for one of these beauties soon.

Although you haven't put this out there, a lot of people like vlogs and behind the scenes videos/bloopers with low production values.
I know that the downside to this is sifting through a lot of video to get little snippets but you and your team are very interest and charismatic people, and the audience really want to see that more.

I can imagine you'll disagree with this but people like setup tours and equipment tours. Not the extend of Unbox Theory (no offence) where he has a page on his site Amazon affiliating everything he owns, but more like MKBHD and Austin where they show all their equipment but without pushing people to buy it. Also this semi invades your personal space but your home setup e.g home pc setup, media pc, home network setup etc.

    TL;DR
    People like vlogs/bloopers/behind the scenes
How about setup tours, equipment tours/overview, home gaming pc setup, home media pc, home network.

Both pilot videos were very watch worthy. However, I found the toy pilot a bit more enjoyable with the dynamic camera movement and shooting style. It's just a bonus that he was payed a visit by local law enforcement. So rebel much rockstar.

But I have to admit Slick does give one hell of a solid review and his insight into gaming seems priceless. Also, I enjoy the budget angle. There is a ton of higher end/enthusiast content available right now. This would be a nice change of pace.
