One of the stores I regularly go to doesn't even have scanners anymore at the checkout. You scan items while you're in the store with an app, or alternatively with a scanner you can get at the entry. Makes shopping really relaxing and quick.

Yikes, sorry to hear. If your Dad is gonna fully recover from the Surgery then I'm sure that he'll be fine and hopefully won't have anymore Health problems going forward. Is he already retired or still working ?
