I didnt change the USB install that was the same.
    used the same m.2 port
did multiple install attempts on the WD750 and formatted the drive every time.
Tried so many different settings in bios with the WD750 CSM on CSM off, secure boot.

I wont sell the WD750 not worth the effort there like 50 quid new on clearance at the moment. Probably buy a M.2 external enclosure and use it for storage of video files. It worked fine in the laptop as my second SSD

I did anyway even without seeing the drive as bootable and it still didn't boot. just went into blank screen with text saying insert a bootable drive and restart

Followed that process and got to step 8 when I got back into the BIOS it didn't list my NVME drive as an option in the boot list.

The Evo 4 is easily powerful enough to run those headphones and has a decent DAC built in so buying any other equipment will probably have no noticeable difference in quality.

    headphones- 35Ohms 93dB at 1mw                  EVO4 - at 30Ohms produces 45mW
The slight ohm difference on specs is so small that the EVO4 will easily push these headphones into hearing damage loudness which means its powerful enough.

Anyone who suggests that the Evo isnt good enough are idiots.

Just contact beyer they have a decent repair program and most countries have a third party repair guy who they will recommend if your out of their influence. They also charge reasonable prices for repair.

Just like to point out that the power connection on that computer is wrong.
the connection is a neutrik powercon, but it’s white which is the male connector and should be used for power out of a product not in. You have a male to male cable.
the computer should have a blue connection on it which would be the input.

very dangerous shouldn’t be used, if you have other products like your lights with power con and plug that in you’ll have live power on the pins of the Chinese plug.

You wont blow your headphones. To blow your headphones they will be producing a volume of just under 112dB, which at a inch from your ear drum is insanely loud and would cause hearing damage if you regularly do it for less then a minuet.

obviously you turn it up all the way and rock out, but in the grand schemes headphones are cheap and replaceable your ear isnt.

Common misconception which all the YouTubers and streams don't know. It’s more affective to space out room acoustic panels foam etc then have it all in one area. So if you have four panels put one on each wall instead of the YouTube way of all of them sat behind you or in front and having three blank walls and a highly reflective roof.

I can’t remember the numbers off my head from the study or my uni education on it (was only one lesson on this subject) but it’s something around 20% better reduction spacing it out then clumping it. (Don’t quote me though that’s a off the head from a memory ten years ago)

You can, is it worth the time and effort, probably not since most modern devices and audio equipment have low enough noise floors its not a problem.
(Also cant desperately remember how due to how little I have ever had to deal with it Id have to get my university notes out)

Any problems with noise floors is normally because of poor gain structure (which is normally very obvious what's causing it and easily fixed). IE a computer volume is set to 2 out of 100 and the amp is set to its max to get a suitable volume. Yet setting the computer audio to 50 and the amps audio to half way the computer audio would be higher then the noise floor of the computer so the amp is nolonger boosting the noise floor.

In my day to day working life I find my problem with noise floor with Wireless IEM systems where if you don't send enough signal the listener boost too much RF interference and struggles to hear the sound over the noise floor of the RF. Solution to that, ram the gain up on my mixing desk and tell them to turn there headphone volume down.

My univeristy in the multichannel surround sound room used Focusrite Red Net as the output device. But its out of budget

Budget wise I think 3 Behringer interfaces with 10 outs each only way to go. Be around 600 euros. Motu makes one interface with 70 odd outputs but its 1000 euros

Love the flower just floating on the background and the gorgeous red pink veins on the petals.

Ill keep mine on the flower theme as well. Took this at the Eden Project in Cornwall in the UK. Sony A7R3 on my FE4 24-105 G. If you have a A7 camera get this lens. It does everything, decent wide, decent zoom, everything inbetween for portatraits and its macro is great.

Ahoy Hoy got a reaction from char3327 in Best USB mic??
Throw this back on subject a bit.

To the best of my knowledge the "best" USB microphone I can think of is the Sennheiseir MK4 Digital.

Costs a a good ammount at £300 and compared to the none USB version which the microhpone is based of its a extra £70.
Its not crazy suitable if you recorded in a noise situation as it will pick up a lot of background noise. But its a great microphone.
Also good for musical instruments as well. Amazing for a guitar even electric guitar, have used the standard MK4 on guitar cabs before. Also used a MK4 under a grand piano.

Got a noise background Shure MV7 is a decent shout.
If your after that budget sloths recomendations are decent.

If your in Europe this will work well. Little knob on the front to change pick up pattern.
    If USA https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/YetiBlk--blue-microphones-yeti-multi-pattern-usb-condenser-microphone-blackout
Blue probably best choice without spending crazy money
