Yep, I have a wall of boxes in my room kinda like the WAN background. Not as cool of stuff, but I think its nice. I mostly keep them to brag about the gear I have since a lot of it is tucked away so people wouldn't know I have it otherwise. 

If you're in the states I think it's worth it.  I'm in Canada and the extra shipping costs make me consider canceling my subscription some days (extra 20~30$+ tax some months).  My only negative experience thus far has been a pair of jeans that continues to bleed dye even after I washed it 3 times.

280X or 290X depending on how well Mantle improves FPS. If it does by a lot then you can probably just get a 280X, otherwise 290X. Also what is your budget?

Go for a windows 8 tablet, you can do a lot more with win8 than with iOS. check out the W4 from acer

If you can afford the 780ti then wait for it because the rumors make it out to be a beast.

I would go with the build overhaul, you can always add the 780 later, plus the core 2 duo would probably bottleneck it. 

Interesting, although I don't really have money to make something and ship it to someone. I probably would 3d print something if I did it. Maybe next year when I have a job

Why wouldn't it? OCing relies only on the GPU not on other components.

Children, please, fighting over the Internet solves nothing, it just makes people more mad and solves nothing. So stop now while tempers are still low. Always take in the consideration of other posts made by the user and not to determine your opinion on somebody based on one post and by their age. Doing this makes you seem like an asshat, and why would you want people to think that?

Thats not stupid, the stock cooler is a great blower style cooling solution. If you need a blower style cooled GPU it is the best around as far as I'm concerned. I'm ordering mine tomorrow.
