In terms of pure audio quality,there not that great in terms of that.I would look at the Sony MDR 1000X if you can afford it or the UrbanEars Platann ADV.On the wired side,I would get the 280 pro and call it a day

Been looking around for answers (as I'm sure you have too).
Suggestions listed by the amount of effort to test:

Reset your display settings ("Adjust the desktop colour settings") in the nvidia control panel to default.
Make absolutely sure you have the latest drivers / roll back to earlier drivers if you do. 
Use DDU to uninstall the drivers, then get new ones.

I really can't see how it could be a hardware fault, as a broken hdmi port would simply stop working... Then again, when has logic / reasoning ever applied to these things?  

I really hope you can get this solved, sounds super annoying.

Picture a shooting game with MMORPG-like mechanics and loot similar to diablo/borderlands just not as randomized.
 
So open world, shooting things, cooperative or competitive gameplay, levelling up and character skills/classes.

XPS laptops are probably my favorite all-purpose laptops.

a) not worth getting another 1080 let alone 2 1080 tis
b) 4k 60fps gaming is not quite at the point where we should invest thousands of dollars into it.  Wait a year (or for vega) and then 4k gaming will be more "worth it"

Well ye, I made the assumption the OP "needed" more power hence the question and I figured if OP has the funds to sell a 1080 and buy 2x 1080 ti he/she would be better off going with Ryzen and a single 1080ti since it runs everything 4k anyway - If that CPU was unlocked it wouldn't be quite so bad (and again I'm not saying its a bad CPU - same as earlier) I just feel a nice 16 thread CPU + fast DDR4 and a single 1080ti would offer a more balanced experience going forwards

The exact methodology of the "hack" won't be disclosed for obvious reasons, but I can assure you that despite any claims to the contrary, the appropriate safeguards were in place on our side, and as I type this Yvonne is having a very heated phone discussion with the 3rd party responsible for the breach.
 
Anyway, the thing most of you are probably wondering about right now is what this means for your forum account or personal information, and the answer is very simple:
 
NOTHING.
 
The "hacker" simply changed the DNS settings in the dashboard and did not at any time have access to the linustechtips.com server. Any claims of a database dump are categorically false.
 
The compromised accounts - including Twitter - have been restored.
 
I hope this clears things up.

So for editing more fast you need I7. Also wait to the price drops to were it belong around 480$. Now on amazon you can buy it around 526$ i did not list your case, storage etc because you said that you already have it.
 
Also i list you a much better PSU for more safe units, and it's 80+ Platinum and cost around the same as gold plus too.

I think it is fine. The power supply, sometimes people say one unit is not very good, so you should try to get some feedback on that. I see that you already have a HDD, but to keep the theme maybe go with a WD green drive .  Other than these things it looks pretty good.

We'll see. Right now I don't really have any more insight than anyone else since information is limited, other than saying these claims aren't that unbelievable, personally.
 
If you compare the middle chip of each architecture to the middle chip of the previous architecture, Maxwell GM204 (GTX 980) is roughly twice as fast as Kepler GK104 (GTX 680), which was roughly twice as fast as Fermi GF114 (GTX 560 Ti). So it wouldn't be that strange if Pascal GP104 was twice as fast as Maxwell GM204.
 
Likewise, if you compare the middle chip to the previous architecture's flagship, Kepler GK104 (GTX 680) was roughly 20-40% faster than Fermi GF110 (GTX 580). Maxwell GM204 (GTX 980) was roughly 5-10% faster than Kepler GK110 (GTX 780 Ti / Titan Black) at launch. So if Pascal GP104 is 20-40% faster than GM200 (GTX 980 Ti / Titan X), again it won't be that strange.
 
Maxwell is the only one slacking a little in this pattern, the GTX 980 isn't quite twice as fast as the 680 though it's pretty close, and it's not quite 20-40% faster than the 780 Ti. But this makes sense when you consider that Maxwell didn't have a fabrication process advantage (it was on 28nm, same as Kepler). Fermi to Kepler also went from 40nm to 28nm, and Maxwell to Pascal is also going from 28nm to 16nm.

It's a virtual certainty that those are coming.  You'll just have to wait a few more months (maybe a year) though.
