So i'm looking to build my first gaming pc, and want to be able to reach 1080p above 60 fps due to my 144hz monitor. Could you please make a pcpartpicker that isnt about $1000.

I already have a Asus Z170-A which is a LGA 1151 socket. I also have a Razer H440 and a ssd/hdd. I would like a green/white theme. Here is what im looking at. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/TT8m8K

I think it is fine. The power supply, sometimes people say one unit is not very good, so you should try to get some feedback on that. I see that you already have a HDD, but to keep the theme maybe go with a WD green drive :P.  Other than these things it looks pretty good.

I also will be streaming/recording/editing

So for editing more fast you need I7. Also wait to the price drops to were it belong around 480$. Now on amazon you can buy it around 526$ i did not list your case, storage etc because you said that you already have it.

Also i list you a much better PSU for more safe units, and it's 80+ Platinum and cost around the same as gold plus too.

Great, other than the GPU. Founders editions cost more but the board partner cards (ex. ASUS, EVGA) costs less and usually get more performance and better cooling.

Also, I don't know if this is just for the 1080 but people have encountered thermal throttling issues with the Founders Edition cards.

Simplify this for me. You say that you have parts, and that you don't want it to be 1000 bucks. But I dont know if thats 1000 bucks total with your parts, 1000 bucks not including your parts? What parts do you need to buy, and how much money do you have to buy them?

As your build stands right now you should not get that PSU. That brand of GPU's with the green stickers are not good (or so i've heard very repeatedly). Get a CX650M if you really want to go that route though. ideally something like EVGA G2 series is what you should get (550W or 650W), or Corsair RMx/RMi; those are both solid reliable units (there are many other choices, but those are good solid options). If you're overclocking you don't want to cheap out on a PSU. If a PSU cannot keep a steady flow of power to your overclocks, things can get really unstable really quickly.

Then your GPU, avoid getting FE cards. There is nothing functionally wrong with them, but they are typically more expensive and less powerful than the aftermarket cards. To go with your black and white build, I recommend the 1070 Armor OC from MSI. It should fit excellently with this build. EVGA ACX 3.0 cooler cards have alot of black and white/silver on them and they come with LED's and whatnot for green if you want to go that route. You could also add green LED strip to the build to make all that white fall into a bit of green tinge.

So those 2 things. change PSU, change GPU. also an i7 6700k may be more ideal for your specific workload. but without knowing your exact budget, i don't know how much I can recommend you spend.

Also, just for aesthetic purposes, change your CPU cooler from a 212 EVO to a Cryorig H7. its like 10 bucks more, Looks better, performs SLIGHTLY better (or so I've heard) and has a white fan to better match your build.
