How stupid is that?
Isn't that the whole point of having a NAS - not relying on an external factor such as google drive or other similar services?

Since Nintendo has turned into this anti-consumer company I refuse to purchase any of their products. I miss the old Nintendo, now they just alienate their consumers.

Nintendo chose VIOLENCE with a nuclear warhead. As per usual abusing copyright to scare content creators into submission. They issued 2 copyright strikes. striking down 4 videos, 1 video in one strike, and 3 in the other, putting Pointcrow's channel in Jeopardy. He gives a detailed description that would take an eternity to write out without some AI tool to transcribe it. Hopefully this makes it in WAN for another Nvidia beat down esque rant.

Maybe you are, the last HP laptop I owned was made of metal but the chassis was warped out of the box. No damage to the box etc so retailer wouldn't accept a return, they wanted to blame me but wouldn't use those words directly and told me to speak to HP. HP as you can imagine wanted nothing to do with me and pointed the finger back at the retailer and basically said "You shouldn't have bent it".
 
I used the laptop as it still functioned but after a year I ditched it for a Lenovo.

And the government are too stupid to realise that these backdoors are a huge security risk to themselves while doing nothing useful to catch actual criminals, who wont be using any mainstream company for their E2EE.

All this ever does is push people further underground, making it harder for law enforcement to catch offenders as they will be less complacent about their security.  There have been plenty of reports from law enforcement saying as much, that every time a big change is made like this it just makes their jobs harder.

As for the topic, yeeeeep. Lots of people predicted this, they simply said it was a mistake to let uproar die down then sneak it back in. I hope for, and look forward to, a slow slide to bankruptcy for Netflix if they continue to be completely oblivious to how and why folks use their service. People sharing accounts weren't potential customers to begin with, when I have a netflix sub active I share it with my friends who literally cannot afford one on their own, they were never potential customers of Netflix in the first place, so trying to restrict account sharing makes me (the actual potential customer) faaar less likely to renew the sub. 

ChatGPT doesnt get everything right, some of the code it generates is flawed. So I understand it getting banned.
