monjessenstein reacted to Skiiwee29 in Intgrated graphics change?
integrated graphics is built into the CPU, you cant change it. All you can do is add a dedicated graphics card.

monjessenstein reacted to GoldenLag in rtx 2070 - i5 9600k configuration
Drop CPU for a r5 2600 with an X470 motherboard. Then get an RTX 2080 instead.

monjessenstein got a reaction from mrchow19910319 in Which forza should I get for my PC?
Forza Horizon 4 is the most recent one, and AFAIK is actually pretty well optimised unlike the other games. Don't know about any refund policies though.

Hello and Welcome to the LTT Foruns.
Basically they have the same performance, in some games the GTX wins and in others the AMD's wins.
The main advantage about the 580 is the 2GB of VRAM compared to the 1060, however i'd buy the cheaper one, because they have basically the same performance

Very true I have thought about moving it up, I don't think it will cause any problems that they touch

monjessenstein got a reaction from Morgan MLGman in Ryzen 5 (2400G) or Core i5 7400 (7th gen)
Ryzen all the way. Higher clockspeeds, better igpu, 4 more threads and a MUCH better upgrade path.

monjessenstein reacted to DVA in Comments and tips for my first build
I'd have to agree with @TH3R34P3R, an AMD card would be your best option within your budget. Also, you should be running this in a dual channel since that is Ryzen's preference. The only way I can justify you running a single channel with a 16gb stick is if you'll be upgrading to a total of 64Gb's. Most editing set-ups only need 32.

monjessenstein reacted to TH3R34P3R in Comments and tips for my first build
you are going to want 2 sticks of ram. single channel is a bad idea. and id try to see if you can get a RX 570 or 580... or a GTX 1060 instead of a 1050ti
Other than that, its not a bad build.

monjessenstein got a reaction from Davidwr80 in Would you leave an i7-9700K overclocked at 5Ghz or drop it down some?
As long as the temps are fine, and you don't mind the power usage/extra sound form the fans from a high overclock, then why not? Worst case scenario is that it won't be stable and you'll havr to drop it down maybe a couple hundred megahertz at most, but even then it should be minimal.

monjessenstein got a reaction from Prince Oliver in Is safe to buy RTX cards right now?
All the failure reports were limited to the 2080ti AFAIK, so I see no problem with it.

no they are not good deals. You can get better PCs from other vendors.

monjessenstein got a reaction from r2724r16 in If i install msi afterburner with riva tuner will this make any change to my gpu?
Nope, won't OC anything unless you yourself tell it to. Rivatuner that comes with Afterburner will allow you to overlay things like gpu/cpu/ram usage.

monjessenstein got a reaction from Ashley MLP Fangirl in safe temperature for cpu?
Yeah totally fine. Technicly most cpu's can handle about 100 degrees, though I presonally don't like going any higher than 80.

Hardware problem. Upgrade to an r5 and get another 8gb of ram imo for like a $400 upgrade
-
monjessenstein got a reaction from boey in No video signal from either cpu or gpu
Well, the 2600 doesn't have a gpu so it can't display anything. I'd say put the 2200g back in and remove and then reinstall drivers, plus maybe reseat the card/check if the power cables are still connected.
