Is safe to buy RTX cards right now?

Prince Oliver

Currently there reports of failure and manufacturing defects in RTX. Has this been resolved completely? Is it safe to buy one?

I am planning on getting a RTX 2080  - Asus Strix version. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

I bought a MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio recently because the prices dropped below the 1080ti where I live. It's great!

Ray Tracing leaves much to be desired and I'm really looking forward to DLSS.

Had no problems so far besides some problems with my RAM (working on it) so I'd say go for it!

Edit: my RAM problems isn't caused by the card. It's a bottleneck.

I hope so! Just bought two evga 2080Ti XC Ultras. So far they have been fantastic. I'm hoping it was just an early run problem.

it affects all RTX cards, avoid the FE just in case, problems are largely gone, it wasn't that widespread to begin with.
