Steam doesn't take a cut from Steam Keys sales, so the first part is wrong but you do have to go through Steam. Anyway like already said you're missing the point.

I don't like all the control Cloudflare is getting. They already run quite a large portion of the internet websites and now they are getting control over end user connections too? No thanks.

I also don't trust their promises made in regards to privacy. They haven't made anything to make me trust them, and since promises like these are just words with no way of verifying if it's true, I have a ton of reasons to distrust them.

Of course it was cherry picking, since point of my post wast to show that you can easily make whatever conclusions you feel like if you only look at stats that align with your agenda.
It really doesn't matter to me how successful iOS is, I just had problems with the whole "[iOS is] the main mobile OS in the Western World" and stats that were used to prove it.

Sure you can cherry pick countries.

    Finland iOS 28.83%
    Germany iOS 31.26%
    France iOS 16.78%
    Europe as a whole 28.24%

To me that seems like quite a difference between Western countries unlike what you said.

In this case abx test would be meaningless since audeze headphones add sound processing when using lightning connector so it would be impossible to match the sound with ones that are using trs connector.

That also makes the whole Verge article dumb as it is not comparing aux against lightning but two different EQ settings (more or less) with each other.

How does it conclude that people like slimmer phones when Galaxy S6 is lower than Galaxy S7?

Seems to me that people just interpret  the study to fit their narrative.

Nizkus reacted to LAwLz in WhatsApp has a backdoor
What a load of bollocks. How can the editors at The Guardian even let such nonsense be published?

    THIS IS NOT A BACKDOOR

It's a man-in-the-middle attack "vulnerability" (if you can even call it that), and it has been known for almost a year.
    The problems are:
    1) WhatsApp for some reason has security notifications off by default, so if your key is changed you won't know about it. This can be changed though.
    2) You only get the notification that the key has been changed AFTER the message has been sent, and no way of canceling the message from being sent.
Signal, which WhatsApp's encryption is based on, chooses to not deliver messages until you explicitly tells it to resend to a contact with a new key. WhatsApp wants a more user friendly approach and will deliver the message, and then tells you the key was changed. The latter means that in the case of someone for example changing phone, your messages will still be delivered. Instead of you one day realizing you had 15 undelivered messages.

I personally like Signal's design more, but this is not a backdoor. It is not an oversight. I wouldn't even call it a vulnerability because it is extremely difficult to pull something like this off to MITM someone, and even if you do it the user would be notified (assuming the security messages were turned on, which I think they should be by default).

By the way, this only works on messages which have yet to be delivered.

    I will keep using WhatsApp.

    I've tried all browsers, Windows 7 doesn't get 1080p.
When I checked a little over a year ago it went up to ~3000KB/s (their higher tier 720p), it now only goes up to ~2200KB/s (their lower tier 720p).
AFAIK you need to be on Windows 8/10 and using IE, Edge, or the Netflix App to get 1080p (~4000-6000KB/s); you can also get 1080p on OS X with Safari.

Yes yes I know its not Solid, if this was a completely off the wall game it might be ok, but it seems to be set in the MGS V universe and a continuation of sorts, heck it might even have a follow on story elements i dont know!

Rising was designed to be a spin off and is only Semi canon

either way, this is certainly not the metal gear game the fans want

I don't think you know what "take things personally" means. Nobody is taking this personally, but it is still a shitty move.

Thanks for describing what an ad is. I guess that makes it perfectly acceptable to push out annoying ads to your customers because you know, how else will they know about your latest product they can buy? Totally justifies it... (not)
Next we will use that logic to rational popup ads. If Linus releases a new videos then there should be a popup appear every time you visit LinusTechTips.com. Because you know, not everyone is tech savvy and subscribed, but Linus still needs to make people aware of his videos.

What planet do you live on? Android has been getting a massive amount of shit for all the bloatware that gets put on then. You must be lying, not have followed phones at all during the recent years or have extremely selective memory. It was the number 1 selling point for Nexus phones. Stock Android. Did you miss how much shit Samsung got when they tried to push ads in notifications? Here is the thread and here are some of the comments from it:
    "Fuck you Samsung, fuck you."
    "I'm so glad I didn't buy a Samsung phone."
"And here I was looking into buying a Samsung device. Guess I'll take my money elsewhere then."
"Lets be honest here, OEM versions of Android blow."
"Wow that's a dick move Samsung."
"Hate me all you want but I'm switching to iPhone next year. I just can't take Samsung anymore."
"i will NEVER  buy ANY phone that does this EVER"
"Welp was deciding between the S6 and the iPhone 6... Its decided."

    and many many more.
