Get a 990fx chipset motherboard and a better cooler if you want to overclock your CPU in the future. Your PSU could be better too, search for a gold certified PSU.

I have the FX8350 with the ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 and I'm very happy with it. Maybe you should go with the r9 390 instead of the 290.
