PlayStation 2 reacted to dizmo in About the Vincero sponsor spot in Techlinked...
Yup, same is true for a lot of companies that market products in the US; they're simply available in China, they get a different stamp on them, and off they go. Have you ever seen the "msrp" of an Invicta watch? Ridiculous. They're basically made to be the "oh, I have a $1,200 watch" when really you've paid significantly less, because no one has ever paid $1,200 for an Invicta. Invicta, really, is no better than Vincero. They're the same idea. Overly inflated pricing for a less-than-quality item. I don't think you can find a Hamilton for the same price.

Interestingly enough, even that Squale can likely be built for next to nothing in China. There are areas you can go where you pick out everything; they bring out catalogs, with thousands of different casings, movements, etc and you simply piece together the watch you want from that. It's how a ton of micro companies work. Nothing about it is overly unique.

Some people just want a nice looking watch, and they don't want to spend that extra $50 or $100. For how often they'll wear it, especially a dress watch, it's unnecessary. It's more of a fashion piece than an essential item. Assuming what people will like wearing is rather pretentious of you. The number of people that pay $1,000 for a watch is incredibly low, and most people are perfectly fine paying the lower amount that Vincero watches cost.

If Vincero sold their watches for anything less than $100, they wouldn’t get any attention. They would be dismissed as cheap watches. The perceived value is more important than the actual value when it comes to watches. Any quartz watch is very reliable and accurate. You really have to get out of your way to manufacture a bad quartz watch.

Further, we aren’t completely certain that Alibaba watches are 100% equivalent to Vincero. You have to facture in the cost of marketing, distribution and customer service.

All I’m saying is: I don’t equate Vincero = bad. They’re just overpriced.

I'ma about given up on people. I was told yesterday "educating people is bad, because they could do bad things". Not, "you need to be responsible when/how you educate" or "people wish to learn knowledge without responsibility/safety", just "knowledge bad, mkay!". ?‍♂️

I am scared for people who react poorly to normal things. But I would assume this is partly a joke advert, and partly just marketing/differentiating the product.

PlayStation 2 reacted to Real_PhillBert in Radio that can listen to ANY FREQUENCIES?? UHF, VHF, HF? Is there anything to do that
In general, no. Maybe you can find some oddball out there somewhere, but usually the HF radios are separate from UHF/VHF simply because of the antennas. UHF/VHF can use a much smaller antenna than an HF radio, that's why you really don't see any mobile HF radios.

Also most amateur commercial radios lock out aviation frequencies because of the FCC requirements for the classification on those particular radios.

Most modern UHF/VHF radios will get you CB and unencrypted local traffic, but no HF or aviation.

Oil warning lights are notorious for only turning on at last resort if it does at all, aka it's pretty much dry, and that's why you should check manually regularly...
you likely still have some oil left, below the stick but not low enough to trigger the sensor.

It's running fine now but after a bit of time your engine will just shut off since the engine seized. Put oil in that engine unless you want a new car.

Sounds like standard sensors that go out around that age for a vehicle.
But yeah, definitely sounds like the o2 sensor.  My former 05 Frontier had the same behavior from a bad one it had.

Highly advise, find a forum dedicated for that brand or vehicle type.  There tends to be very useful info on common items that break on the vehicles in such forums.  Along what are know to be common issues the vehicle seen down the road.

I was tired of my $20 speaker made out of a Dayton Audio exciter and a piece of poplar plywood. So I impulsively bought a pair of Klipsch RP 600M speakers with a Yamaha RN 402 amp for 600€ (regular price 1000€ for the combo). I couldn’t believe the deal. The price of the RP 600M actually shot up last year because of all the hype. And they’re on sale? Whaaat? I also love how the amp works over WiFi and connects to the TV via optical.

My first impressions were negative. I was expecting a warm sounding set of speakers to chill to. My dad’s Q Acoustics 3020 are what I actually wanted. Instead, the Klipsch are bright and lean. But they’re growing on me. They sound very clear and lively. My issue is that the Klipsch are quite fussy with the source material. Compressed music with mostly mids sounds blah. But well recorded music is a joy. And the Klipsch are great at movies too.

So I’m on the fence with the Klipsch... I would give them 3/5. Not what I wanted, but impressive nonetheless.

PS: Don’t mind the awful speaker placement. I’m staying at my parents’ house and they have this really dumb shelf. You can’t fit a large TV inside. It’s shaped like a staircase. I’ll have my own place in 2 years time. It’s being built right now.
