But it is good to the people that like it.
What you're trying to do is show people that you are superior to them because you don't like what they like.
You even framed the thread title as objective truth that the M50X is rubbish because you said so.
It's like you just saw Zeos' review and wanted to jump on board.
I'm no fan of the M50X, but I don’t present my opinion as objective truth.
If someone enjoys their M50X, more power to them. No one has the right to tell them that they should not be enjoying it.

Depends on what you mean with "decent. What's decent for me is probably way overkill for most people.

First off, you don't need a DAC. Vinyl records are analog and there for doesn't need to be converted.
On the other side, you do technically speaking need two amps, since you need a regular headphone and/or speaker amp and a phono-preamp.

If I were you I'd look on your local Craigslist. There will probably be a bunch of pretty good equipment at a good price.

I would recommend looking at old-ish Marants turntables, since most of them are direct-drive and you don't need to worry about the belt.

If you want to go with new equipment, then the $400-$500 that @Dackzy estimated sounds about right.

While I can do my best, the two of us don't really have the best price references.
Man, hifi equipment is expensive in Denmark.

Also, thank you for giving me work while I'm on vacation.

Maybe we need to do a "get started with vinyl" - guide, seeing how there has been two questions about vinyl records in under 24 hours.

Writing a blog sounds like a good idea...

I never liked the idea of ´soul age´. Although, I always prefered calling it ´mental age´.
The idea of certain behavioral patterns belonging to a certain age group seems unfounded and it ultimatly comes off as an easy way to dismiss certain behavioral traits.
Most of us have probably gotten the "It's only a phase" - speech.

For my money I would say that you should just act like you want to act. No behavior should be linked to your age.
And if you look out into the world, then you'll probably realize that you aren't as special as you think. There are probably thousands people just like you in your own age group.

Personally, I have always gotten to know that I'm acting very childish.
I'm 28 and I still do enjoy going to festivals, concerts, raves, etc.
Hell, I even play concerts every now and then.
I also do enjoy going out drinking and spend some quality drunk time with my wife and friends.
Now I have a child to take care of so I rarely get to do any of those things as of now, but I do enjoy going out when I get the opportunity.

Results are in, we are leaving the EU.

Now we know the outcome. I couldn't be more angry, disappointed and worried. We have all been lied to. What is really happening here has been masked, covered up, sugar coated if you will. Nigel Farage (who is a complete racist and b*****d) lied to us about to us about the £350 million that was PROMISED to go to the NHS, as he has said this morning that this was a "mistake," it wasn't a mistake, it was an intentional and in all fairness tactical, lie. That promise was a huge influence on the people to vote leave. Plus, I'm sure he himself will get a nice raise out of that £350 million.

What was said to mean "more control over our borders" is literally what I hate. Nationalism. In a time of conflict, we have chosen to separate. In a time where allies need to stay together, we have chosen to 'fend' for ourselves. You know who else claims he wants "more control over borders" - Donald Trump. In my eyes, UKIP and Donald Trump are racist. They're the percentage of the population that live in the past, the type of people that think black people are the cause for all crime. Idiots.

Already the value of the British pound has dropped. This seems like a little thing really, just a bit of copper. It's far more than that. We could have swapped to the Euro, but we didn't. The pound is part of us. It's unique to us. And it's dying already.

It's interesting to see that the majority of the people that voted leave, are old age pensioners. The people that, let's be honest, won't be here long enough to experience the effect of what is to happen. The people who's values may not have changed since their time perhaps?

Please read: To any British people that are likely to experience severe discrimination. Whether it's because of your religion, ethnicity, anything. I ask for you to stay strong. Whilst a huge percentage of our nation are backwards, racist and ignorant, we are not all the same. As a white British, non-religious, male, I do not look at you differently. British Muslim? You are one of us. British any religion, you are one of us.

A very obvious answer would be Afrobeats, since the video says that.
However, it sounds more like Latin Pop to me.

And now I'll have to wonder why the video says Afrobeat.
It sounds way more like Ricky Martin than it does Timaya.

You sound like every other teenager trying to figure out who they are. Your schoolmates are more than likely going through the exact same thing as you.
They are probably just handling it in a way that isn't apperant to you.

Some people read self-development books, some become politically active (usually in a fringe group) and some decides to dye their hair green and get a nose piercing.
But whatever you decide to do, always remember that:

You're just you and if I have to be honest, you're not a special snowflake or whatever. In school I always found those loud students annoying too, got bullied as well, was a quiet kid and I knew a lot of people in high school who loved 80's music and such. Those are all pretty common things.
It's not weird to think you're different, don't fit in, are not 'normal', etc. You're in puberty, you're becoming an adult, you are being forced to take decision at that point that dictate how you will live your life.

Sometimes it's easy to stay bland/normal/average, but sometimes you should be yourself and accept that you may be weird. And you know what? There is nothing wrong with being weird, fuck those that tell you otherwise.
Don't let those fuckhead bullies tell you what you can and can't do. It's your life, not theirs. They will likely never be significant to your life after high school anyways.

I'm 18 and I also hate it when people talk when someone like a teacher is explaining things. I'm also quite shy, I also got bullied, I don't join general trends (when it comes to fashion and stuff), I also hate that justin bieber crap. I also tend to get along better with adults than with people my own age.

However, I spend 30% of my time sleeping, 30% at school, 10% browsing the internet and the other 30% is spent playing games like super smash brother melee just because I like doing that. I also don't like 80's music but I do like some of the modern less popular electronic music (as I said before, not the justin bieber popular crap but the real good stuff).

Because of this I don't think it's a matter of having an old soul, I would say it's just being different and not choosing the 'easy' path of being normal. Not everyone is the same so not everyone has to act the same. Choose your own path and life and do what you want (just try to not murder people in the process :P).

Seems like teenage type questions to me. Would ask myself that too. I did go through the typical teenage angst phase for like 6 months and thought the whole idea was stupid and pointless and did my own thing without worrying about what others think of me. It's very liberating. I would say most people pretend to be someone else in High School because of peer pressure. Be yourself and always be confident with yourself, confidence is what attracts most people no matter how you look.

I always wear my Nixon watch when I go out of the house, even if its just to pick up the mail (A bad habbit at this point). I sometimes wear a nice shirt and a black jeans. But I'd keep away from overdressing as you can be looked at as somewhat a try-hard I guess. So scrap the tie and the brown dress/suit shoes and wear some nice shoes, but don't take it too far. Besides your physical location says Finland, I would be somewhat careful of how I dress there because most finns dress like crap and look down upon people that overdress (Just my impression, I could be wrong, I've just been there twice so far) I guess it depends on where in Finland you are, perhaps in Helsinki or Tampere or other "big" cities, but if you're out in the country, like I have a GF that lives in Jarvenpaa and I never saw anyone overdress and most people in her family hates suits and whatnot soo, when I were there I just went with jeans, normal-ish shoes, my watch and a maybe an open shirt over the white t-shirt.

I like to wear stuff that looks nice and I feel comfortable in. But I try not to overdress as I have heard it before actually. Dosen't really bother me when it comes from a guy wearing a black leather jacket with Volvo printed on the back of it and using air fresheners inside his jacket.

My personal rule is for pants nothing less than jeans if leaving my house and a nice looking tshirt/ hoodie /causal button up.  My onld high school had uniforms and the teachers didn't care if you dressed up (one person wore a jacket with tails to class all day)
