see you still haven't made any mistakes yet, you told people there was going to be a fee, that's not a  mistake...now had you done a favor for that one person that one time...now that would be a mistake.

I'm a fan of backblaze, i've been using them for a few years now and they offer all the options you are looking for, including file version backup. You can access single files that have been backed up or have them send you a whole new HDD with all your data on it, plus the consumer version has no backup limit.

I do agree with you, i'm in the same boat, I'm actually moving away from back blaze as the consumer version does not like unraid. I am instead switching to a VM running on a friend server on the other side of the city....but if you don't want to do that, Backblaze is still a good middle of the road option.

Reputation is given with that little heart in the lower right of the post, you have a few different options for specific types of reputation. It's all counted together in the tile on your profile and determines what your title is (or at least your rep title, not entirely sure what 'title' you're referring to).

Also, something that a lot of people seem to get confused about, Off Topic doesn't count towards your post count.

My honest advice: If you care about any of that, you're doing it wrong.

I am very much spit balling here, but does your video card have it's own power rails, or are you using a 6-8 pin to molex converter on the same line ass your HDD?
EDIT: NVM I looked at your picture and they seem to have separate rails...though i would not rule out a faulty power supply. yea man, this one is odd, all i can recommend is to test and replace all the parts that you can, maybe take your graphics card to a friends house and install it on their rig and see if something went wrong during the switch over.

This seems like a remarkably narrow view, unfortunately i do believe it is a a shared one. I mean by this logic, they should not sell individual computer parts because computers are just too complex for the average person.

The right to repair doesn't mean everyone has to fix their own crap, but if their stuff does break they should be able to buy the parts themselves, or at the very least the companies should support a robust private repair market after the fact so that consumers have a choice where they want to take their stuff.

I know with people like louis rossman fighting apple, and companies like John Deer making it impossible to repair things, this is bad, and should not continue, but I'm curious what experiences people have had with right to repair?

I mean personally I have yet to really come up against any issues with it, I have not really ever had problems sourcing parts for my electronics and guides for it online.
Has anyone here come up against actual issues that would be helped along with proper right to repair legislation?

That looks pretty tight and may be pushing on your graphics card, moving it down may not be a bad idea, according to your MB manufacturer, all your PCI 16x slots should have full bandwidth so try moving it and see if that helps.

also did you previously water cool the GPU as well?

I dunno, this sound more like a "My software is better than that software" argument, I may be biased because of the amount of money adobe has hoovered out of my account over the years, but I have never seen any real cost - performance numbers that  really give any clear advantage to any suite that doesn't boil down to workflow adjustments.
I would love to be wrong on this front, and it would be even better if someone could prove me wrong with an open source cross platform option, but i'm not optimistic on that one.

I think your missing the main point here, I think what BuckGup is trying to say is that your buying decisions are not entirely your own because of a more low level influence which has been exerted on you your entire life.
<example>Look at the coke you just bought, why did you buy it, was it because you were thirsty and wanted a coke, why not a Pepsi? why not water?</example>
It's not just about the single decision you as a savvy consumer have made, sure you bought that game on sale, but did you really need it, or did the trailer for it look really good and you've been waiting for it to go on sale?
The real problem with advertising isn't that you see it an immediately go MUST HAVE PRODUCT HUR DUR HERE'S MA CARD!!! It's more that you've mostly forgotten the commercial you actually saw about the game, but you remember "that looked pretty cool" the tail of memory on advertisements are much longer than the memory of the actual ad and it effects your subconscious in a much bigger way than most people will recognize, especially when they view themselves as a savvy consumer, it's hard to admit you can be swayed by these things.

alcohol will evaporate almost instantly, by the time you turn around to grab your parts, it'll be gone. while it is recommended to use lint free wipes, i have used paper towels countless times, they work just fine, just make sure you have some canned air nearby to blow it off afterwards.

as long as it doesn't move after you tighten it down, you should be fine, thermal paste doesn't really bubble like putting on a screen protector, once you tighten it down all the paste will ooze into the right places, that's why you don't really NEED to spread it out, but depending on the manufacturer, they do sometimes recommend it.
Personally i put a dollop on the center (this is the scientific term) and then put it on and fasten it down.

You need to remember, this man cannot be shaken, he will not be influenced by your black mirror!
His mind has been trained in the mine fields of the bowels of the dark web and is to strong to be penetrated by your paltry attempts to pander to his vast intelligence.
His mind alone is like a steel trap, keeping his thoughts his alone!
Stand back and observe mere denizens of the internet, gaze in awe and wonder at the scope and breadth of the awesomeness that is Dr. Historic Lows capacity to be unswayed by the trifling constructs of the internet marketing machine!
Bow down and worship the steadfastness and infallibility of one who has seen the whole of advertising and found it wanting!
