I'm sure all of you have seen Linus's line of Keep On Digging shirts that were available for a limited amount of time (As he wheres them in A LOT of his videos) but I'm not sure what the meaning behind this is and what it has to do with computers.

The only thing I know is I saw a gif of Linus doing a digging motion on what looked to be the WAN show.

Stick with the i7 / Mobo and 16GB of ram. 8GB is fairly usable for editing but 16GB is with out question recommended.

A wise choice. Even though the video is 1440p, games now at 1080 have the same difference in fps.

Seeing as how an SSD doesn't move at all, double sided tape (and putting anywhere) wouldn't be a bad option.

If you have an appropriate place to stick it then double sided tape or Velcro should work.  I'd probably go with Velcro as it would be easier to remove and replace the drive if necessary.  Also SSDs weight very little, so a couple of strips should hold it in place easily.

If someone gets the drive I ordered, I doubt the first thing they think about is a drive swap situation. They're just gonna send that guys the right drive. Plus I'm pretty sure they can't really tell which one they sent to me. The inventory sticker with it's ID they stuck on it is for the drive I ordered. It was just on the wrong box.

Ok, so I recently bought an Adata SP550 120GB SSD for my PC, got home, got my package, and inside is an SP900 512 GB SSD!!! Checked the invoice and I definitely did not pay for it, and I don't really plan on saying anything (Unless theres something wrong with the drive) but should I?

Got it from Amazon. I know they're probably not gonna make me send it back, but I doubt they'll give me anything more lol. Literally quadruple the storage I payed for haha

think your forgetting how much it actually costs to ship it to someone and how much it actually costs to ship back to the company have it restocked and then figure out why the wrong product was shipped in the first place. its these behind the scenes events that will either match the price of the bigger ssd or exceed it greatly thus making it not worth the time, money or effort on either parties side. Not to mention the inconvenience and lack of quality assurance this does to the customer this can lead to loss of clientèle as well.
Amazon didn't get big from messing around with peoples orders they got big for providing their clients with what they want when they want and how they want it even if it may come at a bit of expense on their side, but lets be honest for all the savings you may be getting on one product you are probably losing it on another and thats how amazon makes their money.
btw a loss of a 130$ on one product means very little to a company that sells billions of products a year for billions of $.

you should build around X99 and i7-5820K
2 extra CPU cores will help you a lot and it cost about the same
Here, this is a stronger machine at lower cost:

I've modified your build slightly: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pQvqcf

It's cheaper, and whilst it isn't Skylake, it will do a MUCH better job for streaming and rendering due to those extra cores.
The R9 390 also offers better performance and more VRAM than the GTX 970, so I'd go for that (it's also WAY cheaper).
You haven't included a case as well, so I didn't bother adding.

You don't NEED dedicated graphics, but if you want to play maxed settings no problem at 1080p I'd maybe go with a a 750 Ti or an R7 360.

Well my first build (for myself... important distinction) is my favorite by far, but that's because I actually got to choose my color scheme and design, with a slick black look.

I do remember however my horror after having issues with 4 consecutive motherboards before finally getting one that worked... 5 motherboards total...

    The horror... The horror.

I think I'm gonna upgrade for aesthetics. The ARCTIC cooler comes with a white fan which will look really nice with the black and white scheme of my build. Plus it'll be a little better than the stock cooler and a little quieter, which I'm not too worried about acoustics but it's a nice bonus. Only $15
