Good Gaming PC For ULTRA 1080p?

OhTorq

I'm a streamer/youtuber and want to able to edit videos and play games at 1080p and record. I stream every week and am looking for a upgrade. I was gonna go with the 980 ti because im gonna upgrade to 4k in the future and don't want to buy a gpu and just buy another one, "Another One". http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sywz23

what's your budget and location?

He is using USD.

Everything looks great. Except you might want to go with the R9 390 intstead of GTX 970. You don't have to, but it is a more "Worthy" card.

If you want the 980Ti now, you will be great.

I've modified your build slightly: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pQvqcf

It's cheaper, and whilst it isn't Skylake, it will do a MUCH better job for streaming and rendering due to those extra cores.

The R9 390 also offers better performance and more VRAM than the GTX 970, so I'd go for that (it's also WAY cheaper).

You haven't included a case as well, so I didn't bother adding.

Well if thats your budget then great build, but if you just want to handle 1080p ULTRA with a bit of content creation you could spend a lot less than that - a 960 and i5 would handle no probs.

Actually I'm wrong, for rendering and streaming a few cores and more VRAm would come in handy

The 980 ti is a great card, It's just a bit higher than half the cost of a Titan, But the power is quite similar (especially when overclocked). And, 6GB of VRAM is plenty for most games.

AMD FX6300 @ 4GHz | MSI GTX 950 (x2 SLI) | Intel SSD | WD GREEN | Corsair CX500 | CoolerMaster MasterCase Pro 5 | Corsair H100i GTX | Corsair K65 RGB | MadCatz R.A.T. 7 | Logitech G35
