I have access to programator, so if i go full stupid - i can solder the chip and flash it on station. But i've already tried couple and didnt get any result. Until this situation, never ever flashed card before, so here im seeking for some guidance or advice what bios to pick.

I really don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling Windows... But I don't think I have a choice as you cannot really re-install DirectX drivers since its incorporated into Windows.
I could try reseating the RAM... But I doubt that would make any difference to be honest.
Yes, I check all of that when I was having the Kernel Power problem... All modular cables are in properly and everything is correctly seated (didn't reseat the GPU as I have to take the case apart since its a Node 202, but did make sure that it was in correctly).
Unfortunately I have the Pulse version of the Sapphire RX 580s... Only the Nitro+ version has dual bios I'm afraid.

Phones in the same price range (i.e. they're all sub £140).
    ZTE blade V7 lite - 720p display
    Wileyfox Spark X - 720p
    LG K8 - 720p
    Huawei Y6 - 720p
    Motorola G4 play- 720p
    HTC 530 - 720p
    Motorola E4- 720p
    Sony E5 - 720p

(Pricing based off Amazon UK and Carphone warehouse, UK's biggest phone seller).

Granted, for £10-30 more (the N3 is £123 on Amazon UK), you could get a Motorola G5 or a Huawei P8 lite (both £150) which both have 1080p displays but that's not my point. The point is if you're looking at the phones with their pricing being +/-£15 of the N3 (i.e. Actually priced the 'same'), you will find no (excluding those properly generic Chinese brands) phones with a 1080p display. Don't get me wrong, I'd happily spend £10-30 more for a 1080p display however when you actually look at its competition, both its pricing and specs are pretty on par with others.

On a side note, this is my POV from Britain's pricing. Obviously pricing differs across the world so its very possible that there are indeed phones with 1080p displays at the same price range or cheaper.

Unless you absolutely need the memory bandwidth from quad channel, and additional PCIe lanes, the 8700k is superior. You do not have to deal with the new cache hierarchy, the HCC write memory bandwidth issue (it's write efficiency is plagued for some reason, @done12many2 and the rest of my buddies have been trying to figure out why, but cannot put our finger on exactly the cause), and the nearly impossible to control thermals (without investing in a custom loop, or compromising heavily on clocks compared to the 8700k).

If you need more threads for the raw lifting power later on, invest in a dedicated server, as multi-socket Xeon's are cheap on Ebay for a ton of threads. Getting the right tools for the job is key to maintaining the best performance possible. Trying to make one thing do it all is not only expensive, it's still inferior to the proper dedicated tools.

In that case, you might as well save yourself some monies and time and get the 7800X, especially how you've already got someone waiting to buy your current Mobo and CPU plus you don't care about FPS (to a point).

I'll eventually get a many core behemoth, maybe a 7900x (10c/20t is the sweet spot imo) I use my pc for gaming (mostly pubg) and CAD, thus me having a zen chip for renders. Besides all that, HEDT is durable and will also well into the next massive paradigm shift.

I just utterly despise my current mobo and a friend wants to buy my mobo/cpu/backup RAM off of me for his streaming so I'll happily get an upgrade.
Lelz, I'm going for a silver + black build here, want to use that primochill VUE.

Do you really mean 7820X (8 core) or did you mean 7800X (6 core)? The latter is more price comparable to the 8700k, although mobos will cost a little more. Or are you looking at severely elevated pricing for the 8700k due to current shortage?

If you want max high fps gaming potential, hold out of the 8700k. Compute wise, either the 7800X or 7820X should do well there, more so in future if apps make use of AVX-512, plus the extra ram bandwidth might help against possible bottlenecks. File that last bit under "it depends on the app".

And as someone who has used a 1440p phone, 720p IMO is fine.

Yes, it is.  So it's $13/month or by extension $156 per year for 2 TB... It was more expensive than the office plan on a per TB basis, but now is ever so slightly cheaper.  That said, important to remember you're getting Office with this too, and there's always the much cheaper 5 person plan if you need more space.

Afaik adding this would involve considerable changes to both the poll code and the status update code, so it's not at all easy. Given how resistant IPS are to even grouping notifications from the same status update together, I don't think there's any chance of adding this, sorry. Use strawpoll or something like that instead.

Mr.Meerkat reacted to sinkesnnj in Does Apple throttle performance for old iPhones? Futuremark settles the question
People tend to forget about 3rd party impact. I am on Android and remember when FB apk was 50mb total. Nowadays when you install FB it's a 350MB apk. Of course it won't run as smooth as it once did on hardware that barely ran it when it was 50MB. Not to mention every new iteration of OS adds new features that drain more resources from a device. 2017 apk and OS are built for 2017 hardware. Anyone expecting it to run smoothly on 2013 hardware, with 50% less RAM, 50% less battery and 40% slower SOC is an idiot...

Most laptops that weren't MacBook Pros in the past didn't get chips with Iris Pro iGPUs in them though, the HD 4600 performance is more representative of Intel based laptops that people ended up buying. Not checked recently but it would be nice if Intel just went with Iris Pro as standard.

Mr.Meerkat reacted to abazigal in iPhone 8 has wireless charging problems
That's the problem with adopting new tech.

It's easy to go from micro-USB to USB-C because the benefits are clear - you get a reversible connector that is way more versatile.

The pros of transitioning from lightning to USB-C are less apparent. Lightning is already reversible, many of the purported benefits such as thunderbolt 3 speeds are redundant on a mobile device where most data transfers take place wirelessly anyways, and lightning is already embedded into so many aspects of Apple's ecosystem, from their wireless keyboards, mice and trackpads, to the Apple TV remote, to the AirPods charging case. Heck, even the fast-charging from USB-C is only a little faster than doing so from my 12W iPad charger.

The tradeoff of having had a reversible charging connector 4 years before USB-C is that now, there is no reason for Apple to switch. Lightning has solved all the problems that USB-C was supposed to solve with micro-USB. Switching now would simply result in way more problems than it solves.

Apple will probably just stick with lightning until they are ready to remove the charging port from the iPhone altogether, if and when that day eventually comes.

Well, lightning came around long before USB-C was an option. And so transitioning to type-C would be a kind of lose/lose situation -- they would upset just as many people as they make happy, while adding the complexity that is the USB-C market, and losing some profit in the process. All the while gaining basically nothing -- people would get a standardized cable, but enough people have iPhone's that it's standardized enough that several people around will always have a lightning cable to borrow. So there would really be very little gained switching to type-c, although it certainly would be nice to have one cable for everything.
