A friend of my father called my phone:
She - I bought 3 desktops,  a router and a internet service. 2 desktops doesn't connect to the internet!
Me - did you plug the router in the power-line?
She -Yes.
Me - And the cable from the internet company? 
She - In my computer, of course!
Me - Plug this cable in the router.
She - No way! I paid for it!
I asked her to call the internet company... That's not my problem ,obviously!

Yesterday my dad come home and started telling me about how his mobile provider was offering him an iPad Air 2. I started working how prices and what not in my head to see if it'd be worth buying and then reselling. He then tells me that the person from the mobile provider contacted him 2 days ago and the iPad was now downstairs... Well that was clearly a smart decision on his part..
 
 
 
That iPad is now on its way back.

I've known a clanmate for years now. He had a pc built by his son who apparently doesn't know what he's doing. He had a 1500w psu only running two way-SLI 970.
Anyway, me and another clanmate was talking about gpus, and he overheard about SLI configs. He was confused cause his settings wasn't showing. He later on disconnected from our clan TeamSpeak server and showed up the next day mobile instead of pc.
We found out later that he was trying to isolate the issue by trying one gpu at a time. He didn't know how the gpu is mounted and tried to rip the gpu without unlocking the motherboard lock. He pretty much ripped the PCI-E clean off the mobo cause it was still clipped on the gpu. The entire system was only 3 months old.

So I was at school, my school uses TV to replace projector, ok nothing is wrong.
My teacher pulled her PC and somehow the TV became dark (No Signal).
Everybody was damn confused, nobody could fix it....
 
"It could be the PC! Restart it!" a friend of mine (boy) shouted
"No, it could be the mouse! Move the mouse around!" another friend (girl) shouted
"Uhh.... It could be the cable.... I mean HDMI cable." I said that
"Shut up Dim!" both boy and the girl

Then this girl, who shouted me, wiggled the HDMI cable and it worked.
 
"So, *cough* did it work? *cough*"
"F*ck off Dim!"

Thanks so much! Although itmay be a temporary fix it really saved me.  Ill check the motherboard and PSU at a later date

How have you come to the conclusion that it is the PSU? Have you checked for CPU or GPU temp's while you are using the computer to make sure that they aren't heating up to a point where they shut off.

I'm gonna pop some tags only got $1000 in my pocket... wait what the hell am I doing in a thrift shop

Get the steam mobile app so you can make purchases while in class.

As a part of the bring-your-own-device initiative you can get free software including things like MS Office 2013, Win 7 Ult and Win 8 Pro upgrades as well as some Adobe software (Sadly no entire CS5/6 suite). It's only available to Australian students (High school students that is) and it's a bit tricky to get to.
 
Steps:
1. Go to your student portal and log in.
2. When in your student portal look down the left side and find the box that says 'learning', then in that box click the link that says 'Adobe DEC Software Download'
3. Now you'll have to go and make an account with that site using your student info.
4. Once you have an account go and grab any software you want.
5. Check out and you'll get your keys, you can then get their download client (It is unnecessary, but you have to) and download your installers.
6. Enjoy your new software.
 
Now I'm going to go install Win 8.
 
Update: I'm not sure how widely avaliable this is. It seems to only be for public schools, and it MIGHT be only for NSW. I'm not sure. Feel free to give it a shot anyways.

I cut a blue foam camp mattress to size and stuck it to the inside of my case as a 'noise dampening' material. The foam has yet to dampen any noise - I'm just too lazy to remove it.
