I used to do the same thing thinking the same thing as you and then I stopped. Pirating is wrong and you shouldn't do it. I think that if you want a game just wait until you have the money to get it. If you can't get the game right away then so be it just wait. It won't kill you to have to wait a little while to play trust me I know as there are plenty of games I haven't been able to buy or I have and just haven't had time to play.

I like the fact that you are doing this because I know that there are a lot of deals that are out there that can be hard to find because they are somewhat hidden and I am sure that you will help plenty of people, including me, grow there game libraries even though we probably all have plenty of other games we haven't played yet

The Binding of Isaac for $.99? I've got 72 hours into that game! If you don't already own it, you absolutely should. (assuming you like randomly generated dungeons and crying your enemies to death)

Super Meat Boy is a 2-d indie platformer. Really fun and really difficult game. I got plenty of hours of enjoyment out of it and I still play every now and then. Another indie game I like is The Binding of Isaac. Also a very difficult and fun game. Bastion is good. Thomas Was Alone, FTL Faster than Light, Trine, World of Goo. Those are some good ones that are indie games.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do that but thanks though I'll try it and hopefully that will work.

Pc use entertains me more than gaming on the PC or console. When it comes to gaming the console experience seems to keep me drawn longer than on PC. I can marathon a console game whereas I get bored faster on the PC even if it's the same game. And yes I do own some of the same games on pc and on console

Although I don't really pre-order games I have seen on steam where they give bonuses for when enough people pre-order games so that is one reason you may pre-order

Steamometer is a bit more accurate as not all the mysteamgauge prices have been updated to current steaam pricing.

I'm a big fan of Valve, and Half Life. So I look forward to what's in store for the future... BUT there are enough other games to play that i'm not really going to lose sleep over the delay.
 
Anyway the fact that they are making a new engine is meaningful. I'm pretty sure that work on a at least one earlier build of ep3 / hl3 was scrapped internally because they were not satisfied with it, or because it just wasn't groundbreaking enough. Similar to the way id scrapped an early build of Doom 4.
 
 
 

The fact is everyone is a noob at something and if it is OK to take advantage of others then it is OK for others to take advantage of us, maybe when buying a car? a house? etc. I would give them a warning that what they are giving me is more worthy than they think, if they insist then it is their problem. I know a friend of mine who is really a nice guy but he is willing to say a half truth or not the whole truth to get something out of a stranger's hand for cheap, I don't respect that.

They missed out on mine too. If it goes to like 75% off I will buy for sure

I hope it goes down more I really want it but I also want other gaes and don't have enough for all of them unless there is a bigger sale

I think more developers should just do like portal 2 where there is a button you can press in order to see the other persons screen whenever you want
