Problem With Dark Souls Please Help

ghostly65

So I went to launch Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition today after a couple of months of not playing. The last time I played the game worked perfectly fine. However, today when I tried to launch the game it kept crashing right after launching. So I tried verifying the integrity of the game cache and it said that there was one file that was corrupt and would be reacquired. Then I tried relaunching the game and I once again got an error saying that the executable has stopped working. I tried this three times and it still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve it? Thanks

Uninstall/reinstall by deleting the local files. Yes, this means redownloading it. Sorry. Best 100% to work solution imo.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do that but thanks though I'll try it and hopefully that will work.
